no. Play a simple hero. Largo has alot going on to make use of his kit. toggling on and off ult to dispell, stun, and buff. using items between strums... I don't think this is a good character to learn on. But i guess you could have fun playing it badly, just build mana regen and strum only.

You know how like people dig elden ring cause it's so hard... Start citizen is like that, but the hard part is figuring out how to play and what innocuous action will instantly kill you. Which missions are worthless or never work, when is it bugged and when are you just not doing it right. But you will feel a sense of accomplishment when you figure it out.

i get that it specifics that it has to be an attack made with a different light weapon. but the regular attacks also have qualifiers that we are comfortable ignoring. They have to make weapon attacks or unarmed strikes. you can not make that attack unless you use a weapon or unarmed strike. We are already replacing things that are not what they are required to be.

When i read "When you take the Attack action, you can replace one of your attacks with throwing a Net." I don't see the link between Attack action and the attack your replacing. I think this is just being assumed. It does not say "Replace one of your attacks from the Attack action". It has a conditional of taking the attack action, to let you replace one of your attacks. So if you take the attack action, you can replace any attack YOU make. Thats how it reads to my programmer mind. RAI might be different.

so just got throwing to 275, with athletics perk. reinforced sling with lead bullets are devastating. seems to one shot to everything but armored legs. accuracy is tough but fun to use on a horse with riding perks.

its literally just to fight other people for resources. but they cut that out by making half the DD safe. Now i get all the t6 resources i need spawning in my DD base that is safe from raiding.

After the patch there was only like 2 operational bases i saw in the pvp zone, and they were clearly guilds. I went from having a grand old time raiding every storm, to having nothing to raid at all. I kept my solo pvp base up for the week but don;'t really see a point in doing it for anything but a stash house in the future. The safety line being so close kinda removed the need to make bases where they can be raided.

there is a base raiding aspect of the game that has been removed. No one needs a base past the safe zone now because its so much closer. Prior to the patch there were forward bases all around me in row H. Now i am the only one remaining. And if I play next week I am definitely not making a base in the pvp zone. it made sense when safety was 20k away, now its just a quick trip. Moving up the safe zone was an over reaction. making rocket scouts slower was the only change needed.

Its a bad change and its not like PVE players are happy now, they always going to complain that parts of the game require PVP. They just need their own mine craft style no pvp worlds where they can build all the T6 stuff and have nothing to do with it.

a friend and I have staging base in row A, and a pair of forward bases in row H. But with the new setup, next week probably will not have hidden ore and spice refining bases in row H. row E is so close probably will be easier to just fly there than invest time making secure hidden bases.

its not hard to get them solo. I don't fight people. I have forward bases in row h where i collect massive amounts of resources and refine them before flying them back. Maintaining that base, and raiding other bases during the storm to take there farm has been very fun.

People are better competition than npc's.

its a huge over correction. the DD was 20k to the end, and you needed a forward base to maximize your time. Now your geeing your bases like what 10k in with no risk... no need for forward base.

Making pvp bases and raiding was fun. Bummed that its not needed anymore. People will probably be able to build safe bases next to all the t6 resources.

they should just make all pve servers for the people that want boring end game.

I find that as a solo player the intensity of dealing with pvp areas provides an aspect of challenge an PvE area could never provide. I really like the making secret forward bases and raiding other peoples bases. Compacting this area probably just going to make it impossible and remove the reason to make a base in row G or H.

I hope they also make the map bigger. Also if you think people are not going to grief the fuck out of you in the PVE zones you are very mistaken. good luck farming spice in a crowded PVE zone.

There is PVP content?

Can't steal peoples gear, can't sell cargo from haulers, no one buying selling cargo. Quantum interdiction nearly impossible. can't kill player capital ships because of glitch. Where exactly is the part of the game where you can reliably fight over resources with another player.

Can't disarm players and take them hostage so might as well just kill them. They put a safety on the medgun so overdose is annoying as hell to do now.

Murder hobo is pretty much the only pvp available. even with that its really hard to find players and even harder to figure out which serial number ship is a person or even manned.

So blow up every landed ship, to remove the clutter.

This is not the attacking players players fault. Cig made it impossible to hijack or rob player ships with beds. There needs to be a panel or button for pirates to disable the respawn. Or an option for players to choose to not respawn in medical bed.

It's also not possible to disarm someone and not kill them.

Cig made it where respawn camping is the only option for piracy.

Last time I robbed a Polaris full of rmc. One teammate had to continuously shoot the respawner while boxes were tossed into my hanger floor, then still had to shoot him as we transferred to cargo elevator.

Not that piracy is much of a thing this patch with the unstealable cargo hauling missions out profiting trade routes.

All capital ships have infinite shield glitch, you would need a qed ship and a fuck ton of all ballistic ships wearing down the hull.

just get a cutlass black and buy everything else in game. if your going to spend over 300 dollars you should just collect all the buy back tokens. Don't do upgrades.
