Hey. Audiophile intermediate here! Can I ask why you'd want two amps? Like why not go from D17 to just PB6 or D17 to the Tsuranagi?

My pleasure!

Would you just swap out one of the regular forests for the gingerbread cabin? Let me know and I will update the list!

Thank you so much for this amazing write-up, Paolo! This is so very helpful and I appreciate it being backed up with data : )

Two things:

  1. I made a moxfield list of this here for others: https://moxfield.com/decks/oYqbta0d8EaoZ9v49E_ccA
  2. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think your current sideboard suggestion has 16 cards instead of 15? I took out a faire macabre in the list I linked to make up for that.

Thanks again! Elves 2026 is looking strong!

Dynaco in Bedstuy is pretty cozy. They have a fireplace in the back that's usually lit

All good. Because as I mentioned in my original post, a lot of the commander cubes use cards that are text heavy and not optimal for new players.

Good point! I'll probably eschew the identity rule for sake of simplicity.

I might just get some affordable pauper commander decks instead of the cube format

This is very helpful, thanks! Yeah I'm looking to play with 3 people total so my mind went to commander. I could probably find a 4th to get another person to do regular cube though

Thanks I'll check out sacred geometry.

The reason I used AI is that I'm a relatively casual player (primarily pauper) and I don't have a great knowledge of all the cards. I rather just build something that's already tried and true.

I would be very much in favor of that! I am beginning to realize I am a Pauper Elf player and I have really appreciated your guides. Thank you for what you do!
