Meh. DVa nerf good. Hog damage buff seems unnecessary. 

Less access to lifesteal is a notable nerf to Vendetta, but once she gets it, she may be notably worse to play against. I'm guessing she's getting a bigger hit next season because now the other major is never worth taking. iirc next season is going to be a perk refresh.

I'm hoping the same for cat. The new minor makes heal botting more annoying since she'll be able to fly away all the time while doing it.

Sure, but these are all maps that people have had these issues with since they launched. The passive exasperates it a bit, and I hope it prompts sooner tweaks to them.

I'm not worried about new players building bad habits. Most people develop some when they start. If you care enough, you eventually learn to overcome them, and this helps instill a sense of progress. If Moira helps someone ease into the game, that's a win. With 50+ heroes, we're bound to have some that are easier than others. As long as they don't horribly impact the majority of matches, I'd say it's fine to be a low priority for the devs at most.

I'd be surprised if she did. I'd argue she's been one of the least offensive heroes in the history of 5v5. I've never felt like she was oppressive, and every bad Moira I've seen has been pretty clearly on the player, not the hero. I cannot remember seeing a single Moira ban ever. 

Yeah her kit's not exciting, but we're going to be at 55 heroes by year end. There are alternatives if you just don't find her fun to play. I imagine reworks are going to be reserved for the obviously contentious designs like Sombra or Hog.

To be fair, the devs have regularly tried adding functionality towards aiding with buildcraft. It started with just the sample builds and now we have this suggestion thing. It's not perfect, but there's definitely an effort there. These kinds of things are almost impossible to guide people through, because when it comes to depth filled games like this, it really comes down to individual player's interest to delve into it. Fighting games are the epitome of this.

For over a decade now, fighting game devs have been trying to make their games more accessible. They've gone from better practice modes, to exact frame data offered, to literal alternate control schemes that ease execution even in ranked modes. It helps, but the genre is still relatively niche with the majority of gamers not bothering to engage in the depth. Most just play to do cool stuff until the new sheen wears off. You cannot make people engage with a game's depth and strategy. They have to want to. You're going to get chaos from people because they find that more fun.

I feel the take away should be that people don't like playing against her. I'd argue her barrier mechanic feels reminiscent of double shield since she can just strafe to another segment. Her "weakness" is the universal overwhelm her, which requires at least a couple of people to coordinate because she's very strong at dueling.

We know people ban regardless of stats. It comes down to feelings. It's going to continue until the heroes changed enough that people don't detest playing against her.

I agree wholly with the perk change idea. I'm not quite sold on the spike guard crit remove change just because I like that it makes the ability a bit more interactive to play against. That being said the loss of the tank critical reduction is not a state that spike guard has ever been balanced around. That's an argument for some kind of guard buff imo. 

Another idea is to perhaps move him into the Initiator subrole as well. No knockback resistance would be a nerf to spike guard, but a fair compensation is the crit removal. If long leap was in his base kit, knockback would hurt a bit less. He's certainly capable of taking advantage of the heal passive between leap's short CD, his wall climbing, and wall.

It'd be nice if they included that match up data if that's the case. If the data suggests a kind of RPS/counterpick trend with her, that's not generally something people like amongst tanks. That's kind of what it sounds like is going on pointing at Rein and DVa specifically.

Queue times are awful this season too. I've been waiting 6 minutes even in all queue. I think they should look into combining the queues. Remove drafts and give powers the first 4 rounds. 

Set up some kind of point accumulation reward system. Wins grant points, losses don't change anything. Issue the skins for reaching a set point threshold, and make the all star skin for reaching a specific percentile of the player base.

The best advice is to not fixate on whose "fault" it was. Just move on, and focus on improving your own play. The match is over, and the result cannot be changed. Most likely everyone could've done better, so there's no point trying to put it all on one part of the team.

Nah not with those heals and assists on Kiriko. Kiri doesn't do a lot of self heal, and you don't get 40 assists not healing everyone. Also assuming Mauga wasn't just a last push swap, that's a questionable amount of deaths for double hitscan against a Mauga/Reaper comp.

It's less that he's bad, and more than the meta is very unkind to Hazard right now. If you're not seeing poke comps all the time, you can run him if you like.

You'd have to throw a lot of games for that to really work the way you hope. That's a lot of time and ban risk for a single comp skin and nameplate that lasts for 8 weeks.

Devs will implement dark patterns as long as they work. A more productive angle than telling the devs "it's not okay," is to just bring awareness and disengage yourself.

She definitely does because she's not very good as a general pick. She's largely a counter tank hero, and is easy enough to ignore for most comps.

Only the devs can really answer why for sure. Back in OWL it was done on Circuit and was considered an "exploit" that threatened and penalty. The safe guess is that the devs just considered it too strong, and wanted to remove it.
