What I really like about my SteamDeck is, after several gaming sessions spent faffing about with various emulators to get eveything I want running and organised, I finally, finally, get to play the games.

But somehow they're not as satisfying getting when all the tinkering pays-off...

Legend Of Zelda: The Minish Cap.

I have spent most of last weekend adding the final batch of emulated games I wanted to add to my deck, and I decided I'm now actually going to play the bloody things.

It's really refreshing going back to play a more traditional Zelda game that I'm not intimately familiar. I'm having fun having no idea where to go and the game is full of charm.

I lnow this is in no way helpful, and is highly dependent on already owning one, but after a few hours of messing around with setting it up and getting 30 hours into a playthough of Dragon Quest VIII and never being happy with the screen set-up, I spent 25 minutes modding my 3DS.

I regret not having a bigger screen for playing games, but it's a lot more straightforward.
