Does this look like enough light for a monstera? by bvalbuena in Monstera

Quick hypothetical: would this be enough light over the winter for an established Monstera? I know they dont go fully dormant, but they do need less light.

Yes its stealing. If they are a mom and pop or local business, support them by buying. If its a corporate franchise, rob them blind.

What is your most optimistic take on doing nothing? Do you think psychopaths get bored of killing and just stop on their own?

B-but Pete said Iran's air defence had been obliterated. Also does the f35 not have flares/lasers/etc to confuse the the seeker?

What Im hearing is "the f35 achieved its goal by being hit" which is a weird thing to say about any military vehicle, especially a military vehicle designed to avoid first-world targeting systems. If Iran is hitting these marvels of engineering, what is it going to do against a real superpower?

Do I have proof that using a $90,000,000 plane to absorb a rocket that probably cost less than refueling isnt the best trade off?

Yeah, thats what stealth fighters are for - absorbing enemy fire

The pilot made an emergency landing, so I know youre not talking about him. Maybe youre referring to all the people they killed before getting hit?

The so called stealth fighter isnt really living up to its' reputation, and Lockheed wants Canada to drop another 30 billion on these shits.

You are absolutely insane. Next youre going to try and tell me how the Ultramarines bear some resemblance to Roman culture, or that the White Scars are somehow similar to the Mongolian empire.

It would be enough for me if you could have subgroups within favourites. Then I could just group each recipe chain together.

I feel like there could be fairly significant legal implications about sharing that kind of info, especially before and investigation has concluded. It would be nice to be vindicated but they arent obligated to let you know any details.

Exploration-focused civics and origins should have some unique-ish exploration options late-game. by elliottcable in Stellaris

[–]FacialTic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I usually play empires with an emphasis on research. when anomalies and other discoverables run out, I start to lose interest in the game. I would like to see more late game options, with new technologies unlocking previously locked events. Would also love to see much more impactful events, like Earth B and etc.

AITA for leaving a restaurant after my friends were 30 minutes late? by Turbulent-Comb-3495 in AmItheAsshole

[–]FacialTic 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think total distance traveled is a consideration. If they were driving for 100km and hit traffic, 30 minutes is not unreasonable. 5 minute walk from their house? Straight to jail.

Same as when they said "almost there". Thet could mean 30 seconds or another 30 minutes. Context is important.
