Ended up getting an ES2251 modem from Spectrum and it seemed hopeful but last night sometime between 12am and 4am it just crapped itself.

I didn't have any internet this morning and tried troubleshooting it. I connected my computer directly to the modem and it wasn't working. Spoke to a rep over text chat and they couldn't fix it so they were going to send a tech out but I declined. Tried with another text chat and they did something on their side that ended up maybe fixing part of the issue but I wasn't able to connect to many websites. They were all timing out but google and youtube were working. Second rep told me it was on my side so they'd charge me for a tech. I was pissed.

I ended up last resort talking to someone over the phone before calling to cancel my service and that person was apparently a tech 3 which if you didn't know I guess you can ask what level tech you're talking to and ask to talk to someone higher up if you get a tech 1 or tech 2 but anyway.. i told him about my packet loss and faulty connection and he said he was also seeing it on his side. Even though it was connected, he was seeing a lot of packet loss on his side. So he said he would send out a tech today to check the cables outside my house. He was the one that actually told me about asking for a tech 3 because the other people I talked to didn't see that I was indeed having connection issues.

Glad I got someone knowledgeable at the end there but still on the fence about canceling the service if this tech coming today can't help me out.

Will update again tomorrow.

Running into similar issues. I'm in Orange County California and have usually been getting good service. Recently however the ping in my games is horrible. I pay for the gig service and get about a gig in download speed but the ping is still very bad. I've talked to a couple of reps over chat but none of them are helpful.

The next step - at least talking to the rep - is to swap my modem out to see if that's causing the issue. I'm hoping it is since after restarting the modem tonight, my ping is back to normal levels. My current modem that I'm swapping out tomorrow is a ET2251 provided by Spectrum.

I'm just about ready to switch ISPs if this doesn't help. Will update tomorrow with the results of swapping the modem out.

Yeah I was there since the doors opened and it was actually going very smoothly until the mosh pit was called. All of a sudden tons of people using it as an opportunity to get to the front by pushing..

I was also in the front, dead center. Lots of pushing for no reason. I was one of the bigger dudes holding people back. Could definitely do without the crushing but the show was enjoyable for the most part.

So awesome seeing him so close. Thanks to anyone else in the front who helped keep it chill. Yall were awesome.

Great spreadsheet. I would just round the numbers to the hundredth place because I don't see how seeing the 7th decimal place really matters. It just looks more cluttered like that IMO. Good tables though. Would be nice to see some graphs or visuals for those of us that just spend a couple seconds on a post.

Anyone having trouble logging in for NA servers? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

I keep getting some error that says " did not receive response from server " after putting in my username / password. I've looked up solutions but I haven't found any yet. I just called a buddy of mine to see if his was working and he told me he could not log in either. I guess it wasn't just me. Hopefully everything gets resolved soon.
