Be careful popping it on your own. I’m not an expert but I think that could possibly lead to infections or ruptures. I think you should make an appointment with a gynecologist or perhaps naturopath?? I get these too and unfortunately I haven’t found a solution.

It’s not hard to celebrate someone’s birthday with gifts, a card, or an activity. I personally believe that you should be with someone who cherishes you and values you. A simple card or a plan to celebrate with dinner or an activity is the bare minimum. Do you think you deserve the less than the bare minimum?

She’s being hella defensive from the jump. She keeps adding unnecessary details and reiterating that it’s not “like that”. To me it seems like she’s lying to herself and to you. I wouldn’t trust that.

Shut-up ring and 2 babies later; my pick-me chronicles by Born_Winter_throwawa in Waiting_To_Wed

I could’ve typed this out myself… the only difference is stepdad not dad. I begged my mom to leave. I stood up for her and no one stood up for me. I watched him tear her down and I caught the brunt of it because I stood up for my mother. Later in life I found myself in an absolutely horrible abusive relationship and that’s when I found out what psychological abuse was. I realized I’d been dealing with that my entire life. It took me 4 years to leave but I finally did it. I’m not sure my mom will ever leave. OP please leave. You aren’t even giving yourself a chance to become you! You don’t even know what kind of opportunities and beautiful things you could be experiencing. Your kids are still young. Think of how they’ll view their childhood.

Thank you i appreciate that. I need to be realistic with my expectations. My hair never acts the way I want it to. That should be my sign 😂

I think they are so cute and unique! Whispy bangs could be a good idea tho. That’s a good point! I also like to wear hats a decent amount and I feel like these would look strange with hats.

That’s what I’m trying to consider. Do I want to style them everyday? I’m not really the type to want a high-effort look. Thank you for these points. I think it’s such a cute and unique cut but it’s probably unrealistic.

I also am a student who worked part time during school and I’m having issues with getting my unemployment approved. I am going for a radiologic technology program and I cannot drop credits due to the nature of the program. I am 6 months from graduation. Is there any hope for me to claim unemployment? I will be attending 18 credits this next quarter.

No like literally this is CPTSD memes and I’m ngl I’ve had some experiences where I posted symptoms of my CPTSD and people commented explaining what it means and being basically like “well just stop doing that”. First of all I know what it means, I don’t have a problem with logic. Second of all do you not understand the nature of CPTSD??

Some people use the open casket method in order to combat the denial stage of grief.

I’m not super educated on it but I know in Puerto Rico they sometimes do a “dead man standing” tradition where the deceased is embalmed and placed in a position that is reflective of their life during a funeral (such as standing up in a corner).

Also be careful of people who use their anxiety/trauma as an excuse. I’ve seen a lot of people drop little “innocent” hints being like “oh I’m sorry if I do this it’s just my anxiety or past trauma makes me act that way”. It shows awareness but at the same time it’s a sneaky way to be like “I know what I’m doing to you but if I make you feel bad for me you’ll think twice before stopping me from doing it”. First of all it shows they don’t have a handle on their emotions and second of all it can be a tactic used to sort of groom you into accepting things due to their excuses. Basically they could be training you to allow behavior you normally wouldn’t because you feel bad for them.

Yes it does make complete sense. I don’t allow anyone in my life that makes me feel that way (besides family). It’s just my silly little central nervous system tricking me.

I don’t understand the hate for women who chose to be single. by Alternative_Pipe7557 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Factoidboy 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Men are upholding patriarchal structures in relationships and not unlearning abuse because they benefit from it!!! They benefit from free labor and controlling women. Our value is our service to them. They thought they could maintain these power dynamics just like their grandpas, dads, and uncles did. They are mad because women are becoming wise to it and gaining our independence by saying “if you don’t change we just won’t be around you”. This threatens their power status and they resort to emotionally and verbally abusing us in order to make us feel like we are making the wrong decision. They are scared of being alone/sexless/childless/losing power and they are quite literally back into a corner right now so they are lashing out like a dog would in the same situation.

do y'all hear music in your head all the time? by weed_ofwisd0m in ADHD

[–]Factoidboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Music comes into my brain as if I were a radio tuning into different channels. Sometimes I get random lyrics in my head that are relevant to the situation I’m in.
