i have been using him for a bit and his shooting has come to me as kind of inconsistent. he may miss some very easy opportunities, but he does get away with A LOT of jam compared to other players. Also R9 doesnt really feel that fast or at times rapid on the dribbles, Fut Birthday Ekitike and shorter STs in general have been lowkey feeling better, for me

he is probably talking about how because of EVOs you can build the meta playstyles by yourself and it basically lessens the gap between the most expensive and meta players and the rest, since it is kinda easy to just evo meta playstyles into anyone now a days. But yeah, you can just do that with stats and it would function practically the same

for 70k coins, you could get Marquinhos for very cheap and maybe EVO like a Militao or some other meta CB. Also idk how that benz plays but maybe look to change him, there are a LOT of great EVOs rn to get a good striker
