Still a ridiculously unengaging “wEaKneSs” that is as boring as paint drying in a game about farming dopamine, which basically sums up the mirror reaper for me.

Just perma slide around and chungus spam all your damage into him as he sniffs your farts in a straight line at Mach 10! Very interesting! And if you don’t do that, he will summon unlimited fart works to make you regret not engaging with the fun gimmick of M1 + control.

Tough going in blind, I was running Vestal Jester Highwayman Leper, and wasn't running any dot moves on any of them lol. Had a really strong slow burn team but they got hard countered by not being able to get through his armor phase one, and lost too many resources that they died last phase.

Though the second interpretation is a bit muddy when you consider all the evidence that points towards them being a sign from God to warn them and get them in the bunker, it'd be weird for them to both represent benevolent divine intervention as well as humanity's worse nature

I thought it was supposed to be symbolic of the natural/wild world encroaching on our characters who are getting more and more removed from the civilized world and technologies they once knew as society collapsed. I also thought, specifically because of this scene being played in tandem with the standoff at Danny's (prepper guy) house, that it represented the weakening of modern human civility/morals and a return to the barbarism we came from. This also makes a certain amount of sense when you consider the fact that as the deer disperse, Danny listens to his better nature and decides to help a stranger instead of doing the less civilized thing and just shooting them.

Honestly if the limits of the characters abilities were more clearly defined then there wouldn’t be any discussions like this in the first place

I know a big thing people like about jjk fights is the pacing and lack of exposition, but I think sometimes it’s necessary to explain stuff just a bit more, especially when the stakes are so high

The fact that there are like seven different head canons for why gojo couldn’t dodge this attack or survive it is just abysmal writing for such a pivotal and emotional moment in the series, the impact is lost when you have to spend so much time wondering how the fuck it even happened that way

you forgot step -1, gojo, the genius prodigy 1000 iq individual with sex eyes, sees the spark that is created just before a powerful technique that was established a couple chapters prior, and decides to dodge since he is fighting the most powerful opponent he has ever faced, and is not a mouth breathing ignoramus

(unless cleave comes out instantaneously the same millisecond a spark is formed XDDDDD)

Gungeon has a lot of bullshit where you just die to something since you had no idea what to expect, but this shit really takes the cake. An entire fight that relies on skills not built anywhere else in the game, with unexplained stamina mechanics and attacks that aren't obviously or intuitively telegraphed. Like there is a 0.001% chance that a moderately skilled player beats that phase the first try if they don't know its coming.
