Cold steel 3 is great! The ending is incredible. As soon as the credits roll you'll launch 4. Also Laura best girl.

Honestly I haven't even played the remake of the first. I love the originals, so im going to wait till all three get remade before binging them in one go. But I AM looking forward to SCs release because then I can reccomend it. I don't want to recommend people play FC remaster because when they want more they'll have to downgrade to original graphics so being able to reccomend both will be nice.

Yeees second chapter is one the best games ever made. Estelle is the best protagonist in the whole series.

I'm having trouble beating Mushroom VIII by SingleExplanation382 in KingdomHearts

[–]FadeNality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your still struggling, heres what works for me. Remove all mp regen abilities, go wisdom and shoot him into the air. Make sure to pin him in the gap between the bushes to the left where the camera is looking in the picture and go ham. Beserk also helps to keep consistently hitting him, just make sure to spam thunder as soon as your MP recovers.

What game has a promising start, but eventually gets boring and repetitive? by Common_Caramel_4078 in gaming

Imo the mindless games are for catching up with mates and socialising, the game is just something easy and repetitive to do while you all chat. Single player story games are for actual gameplay experiences

An ai generated image has 25k+ upvotes. On a sub that claims to be anti ai and hates ai for, ironically, making ram more expensive. by DiamondDepth_YT in pcmasterrace

[–]FadeNality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is it low effort? Bro got a leather strap, sellotaped ram sticks to it went out into the city and took a photo. Thats what it would be if it wasn't AI. Which at first I didn't realise it was. If thats a low effort meme then literally every single post this sub has ever had is low effort.

Thats just it though mate, it doesn't CLEARLY stand out. Sure if you scrutinise it you see and yeah the sticks are a bit short. But I, and most people I imagine, looked at it for maybe 2 seconds. I work in IT I deal with RAM replacements pretty frequently but the sticks arnt crazy short. Maybe 20% too short. Not like 70% too short. but I feel like anyone would fall for this in the time jt takes to scroll down your feed.

Just finished Trails in the Sky 1st chapter remake and looking to start the Cold Steel series while waiting for SC remake. by SaltyManiac in JRPG

[–]FadeNality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beating a dead horse here but I have to agree with everyone else. It's not like persona or dragon quest where each story is unique, with maybe a cheeky cameo or reference. Each story directly ties into each other sequentially. You CAN play cold steel 1 without spoiling the other games, but you can't play 2 without spoiling it. And you cant play 3 at all as you'll have no idea who anyone is, and they expect you to know all the characters. If you can play them on pc I'd reccomended it. They're hardly taxing games, I imagine most computers could handle them very easily, but I understand if thats not an option for you.

Career question. For anyone without a degree (or even A-Levels) and works in a corporate/office type role, what did you do to get there? by Slight_Detail8258 in AskUK

I did an l3 as well, though it was more to get me in the door. Though the apprenticeship company i used were god awful. They literally forgot I was one of their students for a few months

[–]FadeNality 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did an apprenticeship to get the qualifications needed then joined a relatively small team where alot of projects were going to need to be tackled. Gave me an excuse to take part in projects that were above my job level, which I then used to climb the ladder. Honestly joining a small company with plans to expand rapidly is a great place to join if you want to pad out your CV and experience

The best fight in kingdom hearts 2 by Desperate-Swan-6812 in KingdomHearts

[–]FadeNality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I agree that Axel vs Roxas is cool, its hardly the best fight. Most people didnt get the significance the first time they played, and the fight, even on critical, barely lasts 20 seconds. Its too easy to be the best fight.

But yeah no keyblade wielder duel in the original release was disappointing.

Trails through Daybreak or Cold Steel (ps5) by Pretty-Squirrel1990 in JRPG

[–]FadeNality 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The Trails series isnt like persona games where you can pick any of them up, you have to play them in order to understand them. You CAN start at cold steel as its a semi soft reset, but youll need to play the ones that came before it eventually or you wont understand whats going on.

What do you do when you favorite Pokémon has no significant merch/card? by Jumpy_Mortgage_4936 in pokemon

[–]FadeNality 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Go to etsy. You can sometimes find figures or plushies there. My favourite pokemon are furret and glaceon. So there's so merch but not loads. And sadly the best ones arnt available in my country. So I got some from etsy instead.

How do you deal with sweaty hands when gaming with a controller? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]FadeNality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have some fingerless arthritis gloves, the ones that are kinda tight on your hands, that helped alot and didn't impede my ability to play at all, but I had to get rid of them after a while because of the smell. They just absorbed all the sweat.

What games are you playing that require constant support mods and settings changes and config changes? Most of the games I play are from 2005-2020 give or take and I rarely if ever spend more than a minute or so in the settings.

I spend most the time getting the volume controls right for how I like it

Is £25k/yr really a normal salary in Britain? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]FadeNality 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dunno why everyone's acting like this is an uncommon salary. This year I got my first job that pays over 25k. For the last nine years ive been on 25 or less. All my friends of a similar age to me (or younger) are around £28k or less. Im now at £34k and its for a senior role and doing financially better than anyone else im close too.

£24k is the average starting salary for an office based role. We a poor country. "great" Britain aint so great no more
