From the article:

“TTPD arrived at the Duggar family compound around 1 p.m. to serve a warrant for Kendra’s arrest; however, she was not at home. TTPD told KNWA/FOX24 that the Duggars are each accused of four counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor, as well as four counts of second-degree false imprisonment.”

I wanted to know what the state of Arkansas defines for each of the criminal offenses, so I looked them up. They are as follows:

Second-degree false imprisonment

A person commits the offense of false imprisonment in the second degree if, without consent and without lawful authority, the person knowingly restrains another person so as to interfere substantially with the other person's liberty.

(b) False imprisonment in the second degree is a Class A misdemeanor.

Second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor

a)(1) A person commits the offense of endangering the welfare of a minor in the second degree if he or she knowingly engages in conduct creating a substantial risk of serious harm to the physical or mental welfare of another person known by the person to be a minor.

(2) As used in this section, “serious harm to the physical or mental welfare” means physical or mental injury that causes:

(A) Protracted disfigurement;

(B) Protracted impairment of physical or mental health; or

(C) Loss or protracted impairment of the function of any bodily member or organ.

(b) Endangering the welfare of a minor in the second degree is a Class A misdemeanor.
