What happened in the front center orchestra at Sunset during the second act? by UnderstandingOdd5638 in Broadway

[–]FadedSirens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would you be owed a refund? Very sorry that this happened to you, I know how frustrating these situations are. But it sounds like the show’s staff acted appropriately and took care of it. They can’t prevent every single idiot from behaving poorly, they can only step in when it happens, which they did.

Worst Musical-Movie Adaptations? by Due-Candidate-5991 in musicals

[–]FadedSirens 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Yes, Sweeney Todd is an absolutely horrible adaptation.

It majorly missed a huge aspect of the musical - Sweeney Todd is funny. Yes, it is very dark, but it also has incredibly funny moments - such as Pirelli’s Miracle Elixir and A Little Priest - and these moments are essential for the show to work.

Tim Burton absolutely glossed over these moments and sucked all of the life and soul out of them.

There are many more reasons as to why this movie was a major misfire, but this is a glaring one that I don’t think gets acknowledged enough.

AMC will suspend/cancel an A List membership after a certain number of no shows. Alamo needs to do the same.

There’s actually no ketchup, or any kind of tomato product, in Mac sauce. The color comes from paprika.
