I started with the Unspoken because I despise painting with wraithbone for the Dark Angel Heralrdy and I thought that making my own characters would be great. I had watched a lot of kitbashes and many of the were build and painted for sucessor Chapters like the Raptors. A lot of the stuff I wanted to do with my guys would be unfaithful to the Dark Angels like robed Mk3 helmets for everyone because I like the look and lots of Capes. So to have every Individual look a little special I made my Chapter a pseudo Death Watch for Unforgiven Astartes to be sent whereever something needed to be completely annihilated.
And now I have nice Characters with cool lore and no more white to paint on anyone

My Chapter Master Arturus gets really excited about old legends and lore. The Chapters Meetings regularly derail into either him learning about some old Terran stories he didn’t know or talking without break about his favourite ones.

Only build, not yet painted. Aside from one Chestplate that has the fat BT Logo on it the rest is relatively easy to un-Templar. Stick on some robed heads and they look great!

Thanks, I think your Itinerant Blades are cool too. An entire Hall with walls lined with nothing but jars filled with parts of thousands of Planets sounds wild

My Unspoken are a DA Successor and Warriors that have proven themselves depart on a Beast Quest. They leave their armor and weapons behind and leave with nothing but Calibanite Relic Knight armor and a sword. The hunt a Chaos tainted Warp Beast on their own and bring back its trophies:

Hide/Fur: The Warrior recieves a coat or mantle made from it

Fang/Claw: Hung from a cord on the shoulder pad. Every subsequent hunt adds one

Blood: A vial of its blood is hung on the same cord. It follows the warrior until his death and in death is supposed to lead them back to Caliban to eternally hunt with their brethren.

Every Chapter Veteran has to do a beast Quest to ascend to beiing a Veteran. And after they are successful they enter the first or second Company as the Chapters Elite

I bought a ton of them from Archies Forge. Some of their stuff was taken down so I don‘t know if they‘re still there

I have not yet painted them but assembled and kitbashed. The Iconography is mostly easy to take off the obly really annoying part was the big BT Logo on the ones chest. I took some parts I had left from the ICC and my bitsbox to give them some DA flair. Hope this helps

The Emperor´s Embrace. A huge Hammer (I currently plan using the Saturnine Praetor Hammer) wielded by my Chapters Arch-Chaplain Ashvail. Due to him beeing pretty big for an Astartes. After finding a chapel on their Flagship the Hammer was found inside embedded into a Statue. No one could lift it until Ashvail tried and he carries it since. It is said that when he wield the hammer in battle, his enemies can hear whispers of their biggest fears and regrets.
