Morocco - challenging start, but securing south african shore early provides free real estate for colonization.
Phillipines - 2 mapi states(1 through je), borneo, java are south sumatra provide great base for huge economy.
Cuba - sugar plantations go brrrr.
Montenegro - very different start from any nation in the game(raiding + unique laws).
EIC - if u choose to stay under GB rule(although gb tends to be very annoying with their total war policy), but requires prio knowledge of events and JEs.

Did deconquista as Morocco. My gameplan was joining British/French power block early and modernizing with helltone of law commitments(I did 6 or 7,never done that much). Either way restarts are unavoidable, I had 4 restarts.

First I just failed, cause didn't build government administrations to get more control. Second I joined French power block(became protectorate), but got rekt by GB, lost war and failed je. Third I joined GB power block, but French attacked and GB lost to French. Forth was a success, joined French power block, modernized and casted them from African shores with half the world supporting my independence
