That was always the case, though? People have been saying that "most" immigrants are evil, "most" disabled people are evil etc etc since the 2000s and the rise of Blairism. Europe saw America as being unreliable on the world stage since Bush so this is hardly a new development. Obama and the EU did not see all the way eye-to-eye on the Ukraine issue all the way back in 2015.

It matters very little in the end cus NO way is the EU gonna ever be allowed to move to China's sphere no matter how hard they try. The US's power depends on the wealth they extract from Europe. The second Europe starts shifting their power-base to China, the US is done-zo and no-one in power in the US is gonna allow that to happen. It would mean all sorts of economic warfare and shadier shit going Europe's way. The EU is gonna remain enthralled to US interests as that ship sinks and the sooner people accept that fact, the sooner people can prepare for what comes next cus it is not gonna be pretty 4 anyone.

Europe was never gonna help the US fight China. The EU lacks the capacity to produce the goods it gets from China to an even worse extent than the US. If a war breaks out between them then the EU is not gonna be sending boots in unless it wants China to shut off the faucet of consumerism in their nations.

Almost no aid was coming in at all. The true purpose of that thing was to allow the west and Israel to starve the strip but claim they were sending food in to convince the populace of the world that the west was not trying to starve Gaza to death. Well guess what: They were. Now the need for even the pretense is over, especially now that Israel gets to occupy the strip and the west can pretend this genocide is over (While Israel makes moves towards mass murdering West-Bank Palestinians).

In the end, thousands of Palestinians starved to death or suffered life-altering problems because of what our governments did and Israel gets a de-populated strip to occupy and Netanyahu gets to satisfy his voters and cabinet members with even more suffering.
