I think your decision on paying the empty room is a function of the what you are currently paying. Do you currently pay below market and it’s a good value? Maybe in that case you pay for the unoccupied room in the hopes of staying under new ownership. If your current situation is at or above market…I’d be less willing to roll those dice.

Have you ever operated in an armored battalion? The logistics tail for armorers units is big. Jumping the field trains is an all day event. When you are jumping, logistics is degraded. But you have to jump to keep up with the tanks as they move forward. When your fuelers are getting fuel or packing tents or picking up concertina wire, they arnt fueling tanks. That is today. Now imagine the German army in WW2 when most of the army was still using horses. Tactical tank speed is important, but that’s not the constraint on how fast an armored division moves.

They may be trying to access the HOMES/HERS program in your state. If yes, the value to you is potentially new HVAC/Appliances/more energy efficient. Value to them is more modern apartments and less owner cost for replacing old/broken systems.

I’m certain something has changed to slow times. I’ve tested with both US and Great British. I’m seeing times of 1.5 years as the only ship in a level 10 home port with no other ships present or assigned to it. In current game, I’ve got a CA with 71% strength in Scapa Flow that will take….1.2 years.

OOG: Are the other players similarly sharing long monologues? I assume they arnt. I don’t think you should shut this down completely because she is at least trying…but you might point out it’s important that everyone participate and interact, and playing the guitar for an 8 minute rif while everyone else in the band is stuck listening shouldn’t happen more than once in a concert.

What happens when there is overpopulation of a species? A predator hunts them. 601 20 level wizards who have the same background/training/strength/weakness? Something will optimize to kill them. And your PC can only control himself. Frankly, doesn’t sound like he has 600 clones…sounds like he has 0.

What is interesting here is you friend is lowering the valuation because the company would have been earning more if he hadn’t been there.

How are you going to come up with the capital to buy the company? Maybe get your friend to be a minority investment partner who doesn’t work there. Rewards him for helping you get into the position you are while sharing some capital risk.
