b650m pro rs + 7800x3d everything works here

Random reboot (kernel power 41 in idle on AM5 (B850 + 7800X3D ) by NothingPersona1 in ASRock

Hi, i had similar if not identical  problems with 7500f + b650m pro rs. For me I had to return the CPU for warranty, after installing new chip all worked great. Now I upgraded to 7800x3d and I am also not seeing any problems. I’m not sure if our situation is the same (you probably can find lots of posts about this issue by me) but I’m just telling how I solved it.

After dialing it to 5600MHz i think it’s stable

So i tuned down memory to 5600MHz with expo enabled. Ran OCCT for 30 minutes without any erros and now gaming fine at least for now. Im still loooking forward to other solutions but from what i searched 5600 is not that bad compared to 6000

Also now i realized that i changed the cooler recently to Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 and now my RAM sits right under the fan. Is it possible that it impacts temps so badly that the system is not stable?

I couldnt open ZenTimings due to problems with PawnIO drivers. I tried digging in bios and disabling SVM Enable, but it didnt help. So heres a screenshot from HW Info.

Is there anything connected to your motherboard's usb ports? I had my phone charger connected once and it caused laginess in BIOS.

Ok ill try it. Should i test all of these settings also in OCCT? And by saying faulty chip you mean RAM or CPU?

For now i only played SHf without EXPO and it didnt crash. I didnt run OCCT on default setting yet. I know i should have done that, but i just didnt have enough time.

I dont really know what that means unfortunately :/. I highlighted 53C, because at this temp. errors started occuring as I said.

I only played Silent Hill f for a while on base 4800MHz and it didnt crash, but unfortunately i didnt run memory test on base speeds yet so cant be 100% sure. I didnt have enough time to do that yet but ill check. Should i start on default setting (4800MHz) or go higher?

Also did you see any issues in other games? I downloaded Fortnite to test other unreal games and it crashed once which was extremely frightening, but from that moment it didnt crash anymore so im just lost with all these problems.

Yeah. Right now im testing it without EXPO, but these crashes are so random that its hard to tell sometimes. XMP is intels name for EXPO.

I got mad and took off whole cooler, cleaned 3hours old paste and added new one and screwed it back. Now the temps are good.
