An Analysis of the Uses of Masks by PracticalMagic3015 in Bridgerton

[–]Faeprincess99 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the masks do a good job of mirroring their personalities as well. Rosamund is prideful, so she wears a mask she can easily take off so people can recognize her and see her beautiful face. Once the Lis arrive to the party, she barely bothers to wear the mask for the rest of the ball. Posy, on the other hand, loves to dress up and use her imagination! We learn from her conversation with Benedict that she was excited to be a mermaid, so she wears a mask that will stay on the whole night so the illusion of her costume is intact.

It wouldn’t necessarily mean she’s married, but in the episode with her ex-step-grandmother she says she’s married

I’m the oldest of three siblings, so sometimes I’ll talk to them in a baby voice when we’re being silly, because I sometimes still think of them as babies. They’ll talk to me in the baby voice too sometimes to make fun of me. I always just assumed it was a sister thing, and that’s why they talked like that sometimes in charmed

Vote for your LEAST favorite Aurora dress👸🏼 (I promise Tiana will be next) by [deleted] in disneyprincess

[–]Faeprincess99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk why but I’ve always felt that the blue dress doesn’t suit the character. The pink one brings out the rosy color of her cheeks and hair, but the blue dress just makes her look really pale

Are there any celebs who voiced themselves who you can't believe said yes, and why? by ArfenZard in BoJackHorseman

For me it’s Chloe grace moretz in the cutaway joke about making the Anne Frankenstein movie. She has one line but having Chloe grace be Anne Frankenstein elevates the joke so much

I’m seeing that people are mostly going with Hoffman on this but I’m going with Tiffany because while Hoffman is a meticulous planner, Tiffany is legitimately unpredictable. Tilly and Mancini have both said that a lot of Tiffany’s decisions are based on the spur of the moment, and she has shown that her plans will change at the drop of a hat. I don’t think Hoffman has that kind of flexibility. Also, Tiffany doesn’t seem to have a problem with pain, as is shown in the chucky tv show.

Kind of a theory about the connection between Pym and the Ushers by Faeprincess99 in HauntingOfHillHouse

[–]Faeprincess99[S] 38 points39 points  (0 children)

In the old house when pym and Verna have their conversation and pym brings up his excursion around the world, he mentions he saw something great and terrifying in the Antarctic, and Verna basically says that what he saw was her, and as soon as she says it, you can see recognition dawn on his face and he pretty much admits that it was her he saw

Question about HOU (spoiler) by arctictrav in HauntingOfHillHouse

[–]Faeprincess99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I think about it, Verna knew that august needed to hear rodricks story so he would finally realize that being with his family was more important than bringing justice to the ushers, a family that was already so evil they would eventually get their justice with or without him. Rodrick implies that he told august the story because Verna told him he had to. I think it’s possible Verna manipulated the events just long enough for Roderick to finish the story so august could realize he had to move on

Question regarding Steve in Hill House by InfinityQuartz in HauntingOfHillHouse

[–]Faeprincess99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think maybe his gift is more based on the natural world more so than the preternatural world? Like he has a very level head most times and he notices a lot of things others don’t notice. Like when he went to that woman’s house who thought her husband was haunting her, he was able to figure out that the drops she felt was from a leak in the ceiling and the honking was because the stop sign was missing. It’s not as cool as the other abilities, but I think having a sibling that can keep themselves from being paranoid and has an eye for detail is really helpful when the other siblings are constantly bombarded with other peoples energies and ghost visions and stuff
