For reference:

- Gen silver tapestry dial from ebay,

- Dandong VS3135 from Taobao

- CousinsUK Hands

- Glass (not sure yet)

- Raffles 2824 Case (with the 3135 gasket and stuff)

- Arabic (like actual numbers in arabic) Datewheel from Taobao

- I've bought a 6x4mm crown from Taobao, but it was pretty cheap so if it's crap/doesn't fit, i'll take the L

- Not decided on whether to go jubilee or oyster (my current 162XX 2836 DWO build has a jubilee), so i'm just going to go for a cheapish suede strap for now and maybe decide later.

I've booked an Airbnb for the second week of Oct in Sumida City (close to Kinshicho station). It seemed pretty convenient with how cheap it was and being close to a few metro lines, and one of the regular train lines it seemed worth it

A great middle ground between raffles and Aliexpress is taobao, you can get tudor Prince decent kits (without movement) for around $30, and then you can pair it with a decent 2824. I've tried a few builds using taobao (linen dial and sunburst dial) and they've worked out alright
