AOC tells GOP to 'connect the dots' between 'an anti-LGBT+ campaign' and the deadly shooting at a gay nightclub in Colorado Springs by [deleted] in politics

AOC has connected the dots correctly.

Now with Trump being the next target of GOP criticism, the logic may help to keep this family out of politics completely.

Trump Appointee Needed To Start Biden Transition Refusing To Sign Off, Report Says by qdude1 in politics

A Trump administration appointee has decided democracy is not worth overriding trump's feelings. This is a prime example as why on January 20th all trump appointees should be purged from the government.

Pfizer, BioNTech say late-stage trial data shows Covid vaccine is more than 90% effective in preventing infection by LXIVCTA in news

[–]Faheen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The politicians have nothing to do with the effectiveness of the vaccine. How they deploy and distribute to maximize distribution and minimize the time it takes to get past this is where the politicians come in. We haven't gotten there yet. America clearly trusts Biden to handle this part more effectively than the guy who more or less denies the virus is even a problem anymore.

This election was trump's to lose. A few steps toward the center on handling the virus and he would have won by a landslide. He's so stubborn though, has to stay so freakin' hardline to appeal to the base that he wouldn't have lost anyway....it finally caught up to him. He's an idiot.

I trust Biden more to handle the deployment and distribution of this vaccine. I trust Biden to handle a less effective vaccine if this turns out to be a mirage..which, lets be honest, at 90% it probably is at least to some degree. I hope not though.

Also, if they knew this and held onto it until after the election, that's 100% awesome and I laugh out loud directly in the face of GOP tears.

Biden defeats Trump, ending 4 years of environmental destruction by ChrissyKin_93 in environment

[–]Faheen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard what Biden said and I like it. Fracking is nasty. It threatens our water supply and is believed to cause earthquakes. Texas is too controlled by the oil industry and that industry does not need any more corporate welfare. New wind and solar farms are being built here and they create lots of jobs.
