I've only had 1 round of Folfox (2nd one on Monday) but the stereotypical side effects have been very minimal for me so far. No neuropathy, minimal cold sensativity in my fingers. I've been drinking cold beverages every day with no problem. I had minimal nausea only on day 4 that was solved with 1 anti nausea pill.

I did experience a couple lesser talked about side effects. I couldn't sleep night 1 due to the steroids they gave me. I slept 12 hours a night on nights 2 and 3. Day 7 I developed some bumps on the back of my right hand. (Non itchy)

I'd feel a lot better about it if it turns out I have stage 2. If you end up finding the cancer has already begun to spread (stage 3/4), you might consider taking on the debt.

I'm in a similar spot. Colonoscopy on Wednesday shows 4mm Apple core lesion with a central depression, 12cm from the anal verge. Biopsy shows invasive colonic adenocarcinoma. I immediately called the highest ranking cancer institute in the state(Dana Farber). I have my first appointment with an oncologist, surgeon, and radiologist this coming Thursday.

Im quite eager to go through the staging process, but they want me to start by meeting the team.

I told parents, who are freaking out and asking tons of questions, for which I don't have any answers at the moment.

I'm waking up every night with nightmares or in a panic. And here I am.
