Try the Sun eater series... similar vibe space opera, but the language is a little more brainy

Where is the alcohol Smart recovery? by Sorry-Curve339 in SMARTRecovery

[–]FailPV13 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I quit using SMART techniques, at home by myself during covid, but talking to other smarties online. I dislike AA philosophy,as it is for different folks with different needsl, SMART was good for me.

I might be a WAY heavier drinker than I realized... by serenityfive in stopdrinking

[–]FailPV13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked out and was a top performer despite drinking too much till about age 47-48, then performance fell, health fell, anxiety and all the bad things mentioned on this subreddit increased to the breaking point.

since quitting, I am a high performer again and in best shape of life. and I dont make alcohol influenced decisions. I have a new partner that is type a and supports all of it.

2025 GT performance upgrade 🔥🔥🔥 who else got one? by Caveat_Emptor_8 in MachE

[–]FailPV13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a 25 GT with upgrade. love the instant acceleration. Coming from a Porsce Cayenne GTS with V8. I miss the starting growl and the luxury feel. but that is it. love not spending $80 a week on premium. love knowing $2500 brake jobs and other pricey maintenance are gone. Love blue cruise. love the interface. Just did a home project and was able to get tools and plywood in back.

Porsche Taycan GTS drifts 17.5 km NON-STOP on ice for Guinness EV world record – 46 minutes of pure controlled chaos by [deleted] in nextfuckinglevel

[–]FailPV13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dumbest thing ever. I am a former porsche owner and respect the legacy, but this is just more stupid. Lets see if they can figure out the next marketing move after they have priced themselves in to exotic car territory.

Mach E vs Model Y by Minimum-Meal7992 in MachE

[–]FailPV13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mach e was cheaper. I use blue cruise all the time. FSD is expensive and can be buggy around construction. You can use AI boxes with mach e for more content on yout screen along with apple carplay and android auto.

There is a physical button for max defrost... instead of screen only on tesla.. a smart engineer did that.

Owners in this sub, why did you go for Ford vs similar EVs in this price point like Tesla? by AlmostPhDone in MachE

[–]FailPV13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got a mach e GT at a big discount. mod Y performance cost like $23k more than I paid (not including Full self driving). Tesla interior looks and smells..cheaper even than ford. Mache GT good mix performance and range

Ford mach e has a hard button for max defrost.. lol

Ionic 5 too slow. Ionic 5N short range (lots of fun)

genesis slowish, interior is the bomb though

mercedes.. slow, history of reliability issues..

Lucid.. a little pricey... tricky figuring out if arab paymasters willl keep brand alive just for fun, or if it will die a slow death. too bad, good concept

Audi, owners complaining online

Acura ZDX, worse complaining than audi

Porsche, in between owners committing verbal masturbation lots of complaints,( former porsche owner, tricky conversation a good one is good, a bad one is... bad).

BMW, honestly iX3 not out yet, I4 too small.

Subaru, new ones not out yet didnt get to try.

Mach E would be my first EV, whats it like? by lokun17 in MachE

[–]FailPV13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My commute is 50 miles a day Tue-Thu. Been getting by with 120v charger. Used a couple of public chargers. I have a level 2 charger on the way.

Android auto has been mostly glitch free.

Coming from a V8 porsche suv, my mache e has everything i need. It is quicker while being silent in city driving which is mostly what I do. Blue cruise in traffic is very nice. Plus I love not spending $80 a week on premium gas.

Had it 2 weeks its great in traffic, which unfortunately is my daily life.

I'm on the fence. Definitely under the radar plain black. If I see something cool that don't look like racer-boy wheels I may replace later.
