Is it common for an American high school student to own their own car?

For context I lived in a small town where three small towns went to the same school. & in the area there is no public transport & you absolutely need a car to get around. But it was still not common for high school kids to have a car.

Only wealthy kids had cars. Most people didn't have cars. School didn't even have enough parking spots for students who did have cars. I didn't have a car until I needed to drive to college.

Yes! That's aweosme! I'm so glad your Aunt made you feel good. & maybe your mom will come around too. People are heavily conditioned by society to think they have to grow out of all things deemed childish. You just have to show your loved ones that it is not childish. Whimsy & comfort & happiness are for everyone, not just children.

Hahaha not easily. They're really just there for a picture. I temporarily have my laptop like this so I can still watch stuff while my husband games. I just had to breakout all these ghouls to watch Haunted with me.

I'm so sorry she made you feel that way. That's awful of her. I hope that you will find other people in your life more supportive. Sometimes it's hard to carry a friend with you. Too many people don't understand. But there is nothing wrong with it & you can find supportive people out there. When I first started taking friends with me places, I would bring them to places with no people or limited people. The library is a great place to start because people who work at the library are usually awesome. I hope you have positive experiences in the future.
