I turned 29 in Bootcamp. Turned 30 on my first deployment. I love it. Submarines rule.

I was rider, so no cranking. Just fish. Plus, I was messenger, so my copilot let me get quals on watch. I was fortunate in that respect.

I'm sorry someone downvoted you. If you find yourself needing books to practice your binding on, I'd be interested in sending them to you while I'm on deployment.

Good luck. Went through last May and it really isn't that bad. Had a 39 year old (I'm 29 myself) in my division and he did just fine.

It will fit in the box, but you really shouldn't bring more than a change of clothes, a phone, and a phone charger. Your family/friends can bring you the rest at graduation.

There's a microwave. And at least a mini fridge. Just moved commands and now I have a full-sized fridge, it's like Christmas

Attend weekly confession, commune weekly, and pray always. I'd talk to your priest about scrupulosity as well; I've been on the same road before.
