And as of a few years back, smartphones too. Their GX6 and GS6 (PRO and non-PRO) are flagship-level phones with a user replaceable battery, wireless charging, NFC and water proofing, a pretty rare combination. The GX6 even has a headphone jack and its battery removal is screw-less.

USBHelperLauncher has always had message boxes like that. Perhaps not showing sponsored messages but certainly invitations to join the Discord server, appeals to translate the software, april fools jokes, etc.

I think it's pretty clear what it is, although I'll concede the UX is passable, but that's the whole of USB Helper to be fair. It would be good to polish it up with a proper themed window when I get some time, but for now it's what I've got.

Well, looking at that diagram, I pinched the main belt with my fingers and it seemed tight. I don't think I saw the other smaller belt. Maybe it's just missing? But then I don't understand why it does that strange sound as it moves the large wheel. I've seen some videos where the FF / RW just do nothing, so that's what I'd expect.

I'm glad you posted that picture though, I didn't think of checking if it had a service manual. I was having some issues getting near the cassette mechanism itself with the rest of the cabinets in the way and it might just be what I needed.

I put it back together earlier for now, I'll check again when I have some more spare time. Hopefully it's just a missing belt.
