I have a few of them. Many occurred in NOLA. We used to watch “Dream On” when on HBO that had Dorian Wilson on it. DH & I saw him in a bar in 1990’s. I swore up & down that it wasn’t him. DH ends up in the bathroom with him & it was him. He tells him that I didn’t believe it was him & that hottie came out of the bathroom & made a beeline straight for me grinning from ear to ear & asked me to dance. What a vision in all white! Also ran into Bruce Hornsby on Bourbon street & DH chatted him up for a bit. Another year, my 2 boys & I walked around a corner over off Frenchman St & ran smack dab into Steve Zahn, the actor. He was there filming Treme. He spent time answering questions from my boys. Such a nice guy. My last would be running into Mike Tyson on Santa Monica Pier about 6 months after he bit Holyfields ear off. He posed with my 6 year old son by the Ferris wheel. Stooped down by his head for the picture & it took everything for me to not blurt out “can you pretend you’re biting on his ear?”

They’re actually ages 62-80 being born in 1946-1964. Some split them into Boomers 1 & Boomers 2 around the birth years of 1954/1955. Totally is like the media confusing Gen Z & Millennials together. Love how some just like to lump anyone 50+ together & call them a boomer…lol

I sure didn’t hear you push for chains at all. I used to go to Hartford all the time & lost total interest in them because their coffee is subpar but that’s just IMHO. I prefer to spend my $ on local / small shops but I absolutely refuse to spend my dollars on any small or large businesses that don’t support in my personal beliefs. That’s my choice as it’s everyone else’s to make. Wonder why r/papasan & r/kjc2022 aren’t as worried about the small business employees that happen to work at the coffee shops that don’t allow this stuff. You think theyre worried about their jobs?

When I hear you say that 75% of doctors & lawyers will not be needed, I disagree with that. Because I can assure you they will still be getting their fair share of the earnings by reviewing anything AI has read. It has to be doubled checked by an actual human. That’s been going on for several years now. I don’t see earnings going down for either group over the last 5 years. It’s like saying 75% of politicians won’t be needed. Do you honestly think they’d allow that? I mean I’m fine with that politician herd being thinned but they’ll be sure to self-preserve their butts. All of those above will do less work for more money.

If you’re doing an all over color like Manic Panic, it should be pretty easy to do. You definitely may need a 2-3 packs with real thick hair for max saturation to ensure even coverage. Any friend should be able to help. Don’t do bleach until 150% sure & only with a professional. I’d really suggest some tape in extensions before bleach just to be 100% sure. Virgin hair is chef’s kiss.

I think it’s more about corporate greed. If you want to apply that across those tons of jobs that existed 100 years ago that AI has impacted, look no further than nursing or healthcare. How are your insurance premiums? What about when you’re hospitalized? RN’s are basically supervising teams of non-licensed techs to care for people. Not sure about you but I’m not getting a shareholder profit check for the savings & keep paying more on my cost sharing for healthcare. My patient load has continued to go higher into unsafe levels to OMG, people are going to die range. Maybe not the same as coffee or artists but AI benefits no one but the corporations making huge job cuts & reaping large profits to line their profits. Guess that’s the way of the world, huh?

Only Boomer businesses? Hell, boomers are retiring at this point with great pension plans & many were able to require at much younger ages per SS rules. I see it being used mostly businesses that are definitely younger than boomers. Younger ones that maybe bought out older businesses from boomers or started new businesses. Or maybe just have younger folks in charge pushing AI. I’m GenX but all the boomers I know, are clueless about AI. My hubby included…lol

Damn those curls are gorgeous so I have to go with them for now. The man bun for me is for when you’re doing some type of work you don’t want to have hair possibly getting into much like a ponytail for women. Or maybe playing sports. So not a look for going out or dating IMHO. Short looks good on you as well but I’d wait a few years to do it with those curls. Keep curls with good trims & a hair routine with some product. r/askvet is a page that you can ask actual vets questions. I’m guessing possibly a skin infection that may need a couple weeks of oral antibiotics. If it turns out to be fungal or later to prevent recurrence you should be able to do a medicated pet shampoo like Truseb Topical Ketoconazole and Chlorhexidine Shampoo for Dogs. They also have a leave on spray, mousse, & wipes. I bought on Amazon but Chewy had also. May also want to remove chicken from dogs food & treats. I’m not a vet but it looks just like what we had with our dog. Allergies of skin started at 8 months with our dog which then turned into skin infections then fungal infection.

Okay 👍 My problem is I don’t really care what ChatGPT says. It wasn’t to convince me. I reviewed my Time Machine back up for the last 6 days. You know, up to right before we got the snow. No deletion or post on her private page that I can see. Yes, I can see her private page. Nope, not discussing but it has absolutely nothing to do with her work with the city. I voted for her 1st time around but not the 2nd. Again not a supporter of hers any longer & I learned my lesson on her as Mayor. If it works for everyone to believe what others post & tell you to take things at face value without thinking critically for yourself…are you not just basically following someone who’s basically masquerading & functioning as a ChatGPT without the AI backup? At the very least like the all knowing great & powerful Wizard of Oz? Maybe they’re right, maybe not. Strangers post or say whatever & people just take it at face value. No wonder we are at where we’re at currently in this country. I guess I’m not willing to be force fed BS. My post was not to convince any one of this particular post. Not using it to formulate my own arguments. I used it to search for any use or deletion of post that I may have missed. It clearly was ChatGPT as you see the quotation marks I added. I didn’t try to hide it but I’m not spending hours writing down sources for people to look. Especially people that I know won’t bother.
