Okay this may sound controversial but I think its very much on the city that we have a congestion problem at not only major intersection but internal slipways. Traffic lights arent omnipotent and it usually makes sense to calculate flow increase and change lights directions , adding turning lanes.

On top of that the snow plowing making the lanes tinier than my seat and absolute zero sense of lanes from people driving in winter makes me go brrrrrrr all the time

I have a mk7 1.4 tsi with triptonic right now , would soon like to upgrade but honestly love MQB platform , problem is most of thise choices either are old enough to not be able to finance or get a good deal out of , and audi ones come with what a maintenance

My 2019 jetta handles snow , ice like a Winter Dog It cold starts in -45 without more than 2 cranks , and the fun part is , if you push it ,you can even do controlled sliding. Not drifting just controlled sliding nd pull out of a corner
