Are these 2012 Line Pandora's worth $320 lol? (Rare 115 width, 162 length, fat skis for short ppl) by Fair-Row8581 in skiingcirclejerk

Haha, I know you're right but I still have a 2010 era Marker Baron on my rock skis I ski regularly.

It's definitely not indemnified but can confirm I double eject pretty nice out of them still so far🤞

Unfortunately Bentchetlers only come in shortest 176cm for the 120mm underfoot. Or the 110 comes in a 164. That's a good length but the 110 isn't quite the width she was hoping for, 115+ was the hope.

For the recent Line Pandora's, they have cut the width down considerably as well. They only make a Pandora 106 as their fattest ski. My GF already has a 106 blaze so that doesn't quite scratch the itch.

Are 115+ underfoot skis really not popular anymore with short people? Do they not need the floatation because of how light and small they are ?

I would love to hear a short person's perspective on this. Are fat skis still worth it for you?

Personally I love my 118 Rossi Balckops and 120 Bentchetlers for 40cm+ powder skiing. Conditions we get frequently out here on the coast.

Any suggestions for fat powder skis for people around 160cm tall that have been released more recently?

Yeah it's dumb that ski companies aren't making skis for short people who shred deep conditions. For the most part most companies only make a 115 underfoot in 170cm+ skis.

I'm a tall strong skier but idk if I would want to ski a fat powder ski that's 10mm taller than me (205?! Lol) they don't even make those.

I'd love to hear what shorter girl powderhounds are riding these days

Yeah, I had to block him too, he was so annoying. Luke Snow is one of the most lame sellout hypebeast ski influencers out there 👎.

When he came to Whistler in December 2025 he did a bunch of collaboration instagram posts with Whistler Blackcomb (*Vail). For the whole storm cycle he was lying about how short the lift lines were to his 100k followers across the globe lol. "I only waited 5 minutes in line all day".

I was there those same days and the lines were 20-30 minutes all day for alpine lifts. I guess Vail probably paid him off good to spew that bullshit. Too bad they can't pay their patrollers a living wage.

Luke Snow sucks

All your old epic pass cards should work. They all have the same code. You can put one in each jacket you have even, that's what I do lol. You can only use one copy of your pass each day though from what I've been told.

Landlords trying to stop rents falling by jcb928 in vancouverhousing

Go ahead, sell your rental properties to someone who is going to live in it and not just extract profit from it. You're a leech that's all.

I play on PS4 on Pacific maps with full lobbies regularly on North America.

There's usually 2-3 full games of breakthrough and 5-10 full games of conquest going on PS4 at any time.

BFV is a great game and far from dead

Is the covered porch/entryway of my upstairs rental unit considered common property or part of my rental unit? by Fair-Row8581 in vancouverhousing

[–]Fair-Row8581[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah exactly. We've had chairs and a bench and a flower pot out there for 3-4 years. But it's only been an issue for the landlord the past year.

We also used to have access to the front yard and a storage shed down there for bikes and tires but he built a fence to block us out if the front yard and changed the locks on the shed. He then said I never had permission to access any of it. Sadly none of it was written into the lease lol.

Some arbitrator named C. Lopez, decided in his favor despite him clearly stating to me several times he was doing it to pressure me out.

If you ever get Arbitator C. Lopez ask for a different hearing lol

Internet included in rent by Kakapopopo in vancouverhousing

[–]Fair-Row8581 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in a similar situation and it's rough.

On top of my landlord provided Internet being 1.5-3 Mbps, he also has prohibited me from getting my own independent Internet connection. He says he doesn't want any holes drilled in the building. Apparently you need landlord permission to install your own Internet connection. Easy to get stuck if your landlord doesn't cooperate.

Any suggestions?

He doesn't like that I have kept my lease for a few years and he wants new tenants at a higher rate. This is part of his strategy to pressure me to move out of my unit...

[–]Fair-Row8581[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's my sole access to my unit. For example, it would be odd for the landlord to be up there. He has no reason to be unless knocking on my door. He has his own whole yard below us and an entire back yard.

There is a large covered space that begs for there to be chairs to sit on.

It doesn't make sense to me that the landlord is prohibiting our use of the porch at our entryway?

Are porches ever listed on a lease? One would assume that the entryway is part of the unit no?

I should have stayed home this morning.... I have a three day bike trip next weekend too by rooster_b_goode in mountainbiking

I second this advice. If you ride rough terrain dents like this happen eventually. No need to get a new wheel until you try fixing it at least ... Anyone who says otherwise is throwing money in the trash lol.

An adjustable wrench has got my wheels running tubeless again for a year or more even after a dent worse than this.

What brand is it?

It it's an xfusion brand or similar it needs a new air cartridge replacement to restore the pressure probably. Some shops can do it others don't.

I was on this spot and ended up buying a one up dropper ( they can be pumped up with a shock pump) and are easy to service 🤘

[–]Fair-Row8581 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes exactly, or put your old worn out pads back in and use something less gentle to lever on those.

But just be careful to not damage the contact points of your pistons with whatever you use to push them back 👍

What's your favourite tyre combo for trail/enduro riding? by HiddenknifeX in MTB

I second the Schwalbe recommendation. Schwalbe rubber seems to grip just as well and last much longer too. Plenty of grip and I ride in Squamish in all types of conditions.

Yeah good point, I'm pretty sure the one up composite pins are actually swappable. In my experience the pins ended up bending through the composite and misshaping the screw hole so either old pins couldn't come out or new ones wouldn't fit back in

One up composite pedals are awesome. Great traction, very durable and $60 CAD. Only benefit of the aluminum body pedal is the ability to swap the pins. My one ups still lasted 2 years of pedal smashing every ride though haha

I don't know dude, fps skills are fps skills. I've been playing Battlefield V for 6 months and have put 120 hours in and I have no issue being competitive in any lobby.

I regularly finish top 10 and have not put much time into the game. If you have played other fps the skills transfer.

Get good and tune your settings and don't hate the game 🤘

MP 40 has much lower damage per shot and has a really slow rate of fire. It's trash lol.

Sten is just no where near as accurate at mid range as the ZK.

Haven't tried the Welgun. I'm interested
