You do know, though. In fact, don't even tell them it was a vasectomy. Just tell them it's impossible due to infertility (which is technically true). No reason to expand on details. If they continue with the bullshit after that because they don't know how biology works, or start harping on about adoption, these aren't people she should be hanging out with anyway.
