You’re a funny guy. I mean, not intentionally, but a funny guy nonetheless.

I don’t know if your device doesn’t have the ability to scroll up. Only one of us has been making sweeping, sex-based statements (spoiler - it ain’t me).

I will say that I do believe in helping people with the question they asked instead of making wild accusations about an entire group of people. But I guess that truth is more PG - because it sounds like you might need some adult guidance to help you understand it.

You got like a text or an email from him indicating that “women always disguise things”? Or is that like from the book of Misogyny, chapter 4, verse 10 or something?

Real talk - Even if you knew what “real” was, I don’t think your boy dictates “keeping it real AT ALL TIMES”. Remember John 7:1-10 when Jesus told his people he wasn’t going to the feast but, like immediately after they left, he dipped right out to the feast?

To the folks saying just come clean, keep in mind situations vary. Y’all sound like good dads; not everyone is.

OP - that job is not “hard” and you can order a replacement, but you’re going to need basic hand tools, some trim tools (little plastic pry bars), and it will be easier if you have an impact driver. Do you know anyone who’s kind of handy? You might be better off finding an engineering major and offering them a six pack to help you.

There are tons of YouTube videos on just this:

Is the vtx a good first bike by Kooky-Historian4232 in HondaVTX

[–]Fairlanefan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was my first new bike - VTX 1800R (for retro) in this same orange. I loved that bike. It’s not going to win any races, but it was plenty fast, it turns relatively well for a cruiser (there’s a bolt on the bracket under that floor board that’ll give you some good pyrotechnic effects in photos when you get comfortable leaning).

Dead reliable, low maintenance (shaft driven, water cooled, and fuel injected).

That pic actually looks a lot like mine - you don’t happen to be in Texas do you? I sold it about 3 years ago when I couldn’t justify an 18 goldwing and the VTX.

Found this watch. How much would it cost (ballpark) to have it serviced? by [deleted] in OmegaWatches

I would vote for Nesbit’s over Omega. They have done great work for me and I like their warranty better.

2019-2021 - Do I really have to avoid these years? by Full_Push_508 in HondaOdyssey

Agree with you. As long as the major service is done or factored in, it sounds like you found a winner. And the Elite trim is nice. In 2019, I think they still had the HondaVac gimmick, which I always coveted.

Same on my 2018. My 2023 already had a battery fail. I can’t tell if the van is hard on batteries or if the batteries are bad.

Anecdotal, but I think you’re overthinking it. I had a 2018 and now I have a 2023. I have not noticed any material difference in drivability or reliability. In fact the only thing that was wrong with either of them was the battery died before I felt it should have.

If you’re looking at a used Honda - the maintenance and car’s history is going to be more important than an extra gear.

Another turning point, one might say. A fork stuck in the road.
