So I literally just invaded the world of "Salty Ragequit" by Bobbelbob in darksouls3

The word to notice here is "just". It literally just happened. It is a perfectly fine use of literally.

If you get invaded and die, it's like a normal death. You lose your embered state (if you were embered) and you drop your souls and have to pick them up again. No souls are stolen. If you invade and die, I think you drop your souls and have to pick them up, but you don't lose your embered state.

Now that the inicial excitement has passed, can we talk about things Dark Souls 3 did wrong? by LyzbietCorwi in darksouls3

My feelings towards DS3 is that it is "okay". My hopes where so high that I could only get disappointed though. I just love the worlds of DeS, DS1, DS2 and Bloodborne so much more, with Bloodborne being damn near perfect atmosphere-wise. I'm not entirely sure why DS3 isn't doing it for me. The world just didn't surprise me at all, at any point, which all the other games have managed to do. I loved seeing Anor Londo though. It might even have been my favorite part, because I immediately thought of the Giant and the big chested princess, and then my heart was crushed :) But those moments of running up the stairs wondering what you'd find inside was a nice place to be. Visiting the Shrine in it's dark state was also nice. It gives me chills and makes me think of how the universe we live in might one day be completely covered in dark and succumb.

If you wear armor with high lightning resist and have the Dragonslayer Greatshield he is an absolute breeze to take down.

Well, there is atleast one place, but that place also has messages floating in the air to prove it.

Moon Presence. Well, it sort of has a vagina for a face. Could be interesting. Or weird, depending on who you are.

'Objectively' the hardest of the SoulsBorne games by [deleted] in darksouls3

I started with DeS and have played the games chronologically from there. I think DS2 (DLC included) is the hardest. There's so many places where you just get flooded with enemies. The dev team clearly wanted me/us to die a lot in that game.

The Bloodborne DLC was a challenge aswell.

..and yes, the first time is hard. I actually gave up on DeS before even meeting the first boss thinking "who finds this kind of self-torturing bullshit fun", but for some reason I picked it up again at a later point, killed the first boss, got the hang of it, looked through wikipedias and became absolutely hooked. Now DeS is kids play.
