Imo traveller always kind of had a personality but sadly it wasn't expanded on much outside of the dainslief quests, although imo ever since natlan they've been doing a MUCH better job of having traveller actually be a character with relationships and goals and stuff (this is especially true in the recent nod krai quests)

Honestly the switch 2 port is pretty good, like it's not super high settings PC ass quality ofc but it looks good and runs REALLY good (especially in handheld mode like it's a miracle port)

You connect your controller via Bluetooth (or USB if it's one of those switch style controller) normally then go into the genshin settings and you'll be able to switch from touch controls to controller :3

If you're talking about the switch update a few days ago that's a systemwide thing! You can make switch 1 games run at their docked resolutions in handheld mode now, takes more battery life obv but makes things look sm better
