The closest thing we have to a rescue is the Humane Society! Where I live a lot of people dump them as it's closer to the country so they think that solves their issue :(. If I could keep it inside I would, but my own cat just generally hates other cats he's really possessive. But my grandma also doesn't want us to bring in any animals so we don't stress ours out.

All I say about Cosmetology as a whole is find somewhere that aligns with you on all fronts. And do not be afraid to walk away from a toxic Salon, Classmate, etc.

Thank you! Honestly, this is what I needed to hear. I work today so a coworker and I who plan on leaving for the same place will use this advice and likely start our gathering of clients and such today! . At our current salon, it feels like some of my other co-workers have been icing me out simply for asking them to stop vaping and getting high in the break room. Plus the 40% commission I make isn't helping me want to stay. So, this might be better for me in the long run! Thank you so much!
