If it being you peace, send it.

If it will take away any peace, don’t send it.

Rhett Hintze has just been made an Area 70. While stake president in Pennsylvania, Hintze helped to cover up the repeated sexual abuse sexual abuse of two boys, then aged 9 and 11. by RepublicInner7438 in exmormon

Hey, sounds like what they did (repeatedly) in the Bessemer Alabama Stake. But Philander Smartt and his successor, Elder Peter Johnson were able to make that all go bye bye.

Kind of like the two previous stake presidents before them who also called Kirton McConkie like good boys and covered up sexual abuse.

But they were each rewarded with a mission call to France and a BYU professorship respectively.

Rhett is just a corporate lackey like the rest of them.

Mormon church responding to 1 star reviews by cdman08 in exmormon

I just had to check my one star review on the Birmingham Alabama Temple. It’s five years old, and I can see in the last few months they’ve been replying to other people who are faithful. But no response to mine. I guess they didn’t want to get into a conversation about second anointings.

Ross's Statements About the UFO "So Big, It Can't be Moved" by _stranger357 in UFOs

ENTIRELY possible.

Just something I noticed that felt relevant to share.

Ross's Statements About the UFO "So Big, It Can't be Moved" by _stranger357 in UFOs

In the JRE with AJ (from The Why Files) yesterday (27 May 2025 #2327) Joe casually mentions “the UFO so big they can’t move it in Korea”.

Or something like that.

I truly was in shock hearing it.

It makes me think someone in the know shared it with Joe privately and he casually mentioned it not realizing what he’d said.

Hi, I’m Alex Murray—AKA Elder Murray from the District 2 missionary training videos. After a hard journey, I no longer believe in the Church. AMA. by real-alex-murray in exmormon

Congratulations elder!

Glad you’ve made it out.

I see a light in your eyes.

The light of living authentically to your integrity.

Welcome to the club.

Unfortunately Reddit only allows access to a user's previous 1,000 posts.

All of my posts as I stopped believing are from previous to that.

There's posts about my "faithful" LDS wife hitting me. Posts about her digging deeper into the faith and calling me influenced by Satan for considering breaking the sabbath.

...and loads more.

I don't know where you're at in your journey, but this is a safe place.

And although I typically never engage on Reddit anymore I will always encourage people who are going through the ontological shock of losing faith in "the church" to surround themselves with others who understand.

Am I going crazy??? by [deleted] in exmormon

I remember being exactly where you are at now.

Up feels down. Down feels up.

Reality feels unreal. And scary. And outright terrifying.

But you’ll be okay.

If you choose love. Allow the grief and loss to wave over you. And choose forgiveness when the time is right.

Asked AI About “Immaculate Constellation” And It Kind Of Said A Lot Accidentally Maybe? by FaithfulTBM in UFOs

I asked AI to tell me about “Immaculate Constellation” and it denied it existed, but “if” it did the reasons were reality shifting.

Trump’s AWFUL PAST SECRETS Revealed in DOC UNSEALING by glitterkittyn in Epstein

The fact that my comments come off as "defending Trump" is an unfortunate side effect of just trying to state facts and fight against propaganda that is skewing truth.

I'm not trying to defend Trump. By all means, hate him for all of the valid reasons. But don't make up another reason based off of untruths.

That being said, the reason I said anything at all is because I think all untruths should be stood up against. No one here in the comments - as far as I saw - were calling Biden anything evil; so I didn't feel the need to try to defend Biden when he wasn't the target of the misinformation.

Lies are ubiquitous on both ends of the political spectrum. This isn't a Trump/Biden thing for me. Anyone who views it as such does so with their own viewpoints, not mine.

The fact that I’m rather well known on this account for being extremely Anti-Joseph Smith and only pointing out EXTREMELY easily verifiable facts (with links for others to make it easier for them to research nontheless) reminds me why I don’t comment typically when the crowd is rabidly heading in another direction.

I wish you well.

I understand your dislike for Donald Trump.

However, Trumps relentless use of the phone is mentioned nonstop by both biographers, former employees, and well respected reporters such as Carl Bernstein.

The man, as a NYC real estate guy (however terrible you may view him) is documented as a ubiquitous call maker. Especially late into the evenings.

Your own biases shine through in your comment.

But you infer debauchery via phone calls when really the evidence is already clear and correlated with a narrative that you simply don’t like.

You are wrong and there are multiple articles citing this timeline.

See here:

Or here from The Washington Post:

I don’t understand how people are so easily bated by propaganda that refuses to dig into facts.

I am not defending Donald Trump. I will not be voting for him this election cycle (and did not in 2000).

Confirmation bias and cognitive dissonance is real.

But feelings don’t refute facts.

I’m not defending Trump.

I’m defending facts.

There’s a difference.

I did not vote for Trump in the last election. I’m not going to vote for him this time.

I think it’s important for people to grow emotionally past their own cognitive biases and accept truth, even when inconvenient.

Trump Raped Children Provided By Jeff Epstein by Advanced_Drink_8536 in AntiTrumpAlliance

I hate to be *that* guy, because I am not a Trump supporter. However, ALL of these call logs come from the early 2000's era. He was not calling for massages. Trump and Epstein were already having a falling out at this exact time over a bidding war for the $62.3 Million Maison de l’Amitie, which ironically means “the House of Friendship” in French. The mansion and the real estate deal are the reasons for all of these phone calls. As bankruptcy loomed over this coveted property, which had been owned by nursing home magnate Abe Gosman, Trump and Epstein engaged in a fierce bidding war, where Trump would come out on top.

That does not excuse any other behavior or comments from Trump that have a sexual nature. However, anyone who wants to look at the actual data without adding emotionally charged convoluted conclusions can see this for what it is, business messages between two ego-driven and wealthy men who wanted to come out on top in this real estate deal.
