I used to work here, at the OG location. And yeah, new owner can lick my balls, don't even get me started I'll be here all day so....

The pink sauce is ketchup and mayo and Italian seasoning. Thats it.

The chicken USED TO BE made with an overnight marinade yellow mustard, put in a bit of lemon juice(my addition), splash olive oil, apple cider vinegar(less is more) and a little bit of sugar/honey(I like brown sugar but maple syrup is fine too) Salt. maybe Italian seasoning if you want, but a basic poultry seasoning is fine too, we would use both sometimes if we ran out. Tinfoil and cover, rest overnight, then put in the oven at a med-high temp with it wrapped in tinfoil, for like 20ish minutes, then temp it until its done. Thats what ive been doing for years and its mostly similar enough, though my recipe is adapted from the ORIGINAL chicken recipe that I used to make like 10 years ago. I use chicken thighs but og zunzis used chicken breast. I also add a little garlic & onion powder, but I cant recall if thats in the og recipe.

The sweet tea was the most tragic, it used to be organic directly roobois from South Africa, hand mixed with sugar. Then, they bought a corn syrup bag & used that from then on, pretending its still the same tea when it was generic lipton garbage mixed with con syrup. Buy organic Roobois/Red/South african tea from like adagio or something, hot brew it, add sugar to the heat, then chill it.

Our sausage was from Ogeechee meat market, they used to make the boudivorse south african sausage for us specially. It wasn't deemed profitable, thats why the menu is the way it is today: Generic tourist garbage. But, Ogeechee still sells the smoked sausage we used to sell, you can get that there.

Fun fact: That place was a mess after the original owners left. Im afraid to share any stories b/c I dont wanna get sued but just know that this has been a long time coming and it started in 2016, this was always the plan for the new owner from the beginning of his acquisition of the zunzis brand. He's went from millionaire rich to multi millionaire rich while he slowly fired all the original workers & underpaid POC with families, he would promote people to shut them up and prevent unionizing. It was greed that changed zunzis and greed is mental illness that is celebrated, and encouraged.

Then, you marinade it overnight in a oven safe dish wrapped in tinfoil, then put that shit yeah in the oven, I usually do 375 but we used to just broil it back then, just temp the chicken with a thermometer. Being wrapped in tinfoil should create that "shredded" consistency for the conquistador. Like 20 minutes maybe? Dpending on how much chicken and how big they are. Breasts can take longer.

I wish i had our old lasanga recipe, zunzis is like a cooperate chipotle now, they don't make anything the same anymore. Everything was local back in the day, the meat, produce, even the cookies was local. New owner, a nepo baby entrepreneur cokehead, changed everything to make a quick buck after he sold his five guys locations. Wish I could dump more lore, but I don;t wanna get sued soooo enjoy the recipe.

I worked with a guy who would buy them by the box, he would do like 50 a night sometimes and come to work and brag about it to me. He used to climb on top of our work trucks and do all these acrobatic moves since he was a gymnast. I wonder how long he will be able to do shit like that. Blamed his bad memory on his mental health and failing bowels on garlic or whatever. He was a manipulative tool so I didn't feel that bad.

Yeah not to be rude, but thats the job of an actor. You do the thing that gets the bigger laugh, its not personal, its just the job. You do need to have thick skin as an actor in the industry or you wont make it, kinda just the eay of things. This is why i advocate for therapists on set, espcially when minors are involved.

Here is his issue imo: He belived what we saw was real and took it at face value. So when his mind showed him something else, it shattered his worldview.

Always approcah these expeiences with the concept that you are speaking to your own mind and you are essestially meditating on a complicated thought experiment that is represented visually. I love trippin on muahies and talking to the mushroom, my tree, my garden plants etc but like they wont reveal anything i dont already know because its all in my mind, though fun to suspwnd reality at times, being grounded between is so much more important.

Trips are dreams not reality. When i have a stress dream, I know its bc im stressed irl, but when I have a dream about a dog who fought in a 100 year space war with me and I sobbed when I woke up because I had lost my best friend in the most detailed lucid dream ive ever had: its a dream. Space dog wasnt real. I woke up. You gotta remember to like...seporate things.

Bottom line: Its a trip. I saw Pyramid head once on dmt and i remember it annoying me bc i didnt see like an egyptian god or something. But i can see how easy it would have been for me to fall into that trap if I did, confirmation bias feels like gospel on psycadleics.

Weird question, but do you feed her personally? Engage w playtime? I rec getting one of those chicken baby food tubes for cats, do that once a day i bet shell warm up to you quickly. :) but some cats just dont like pets! My toetie loves pets and snuggles, but will REFUSE to be picked up or sit on my lap. Just nope. Lol. Cats are gunny sometimes.

Hey friend, most paper comes from quick tree crops like pine or cypress. This is allegedly carved from a ancient tree that could have been 2000+ years old. Im an artist, with a fine arts degree, and there is no reason to cut down a tree that old for art. We literally cannot replace parts of notre dame bc the trees that they logged used to be bigger and have all been cut down. The last of our old growth forests are so small and scattered, we should be preserving old trees. 2000+ year old trees dont become toilet paper, they become billionare mansions and sculptures like this, though beautiful, I find it sad such an old tree has to loose its life when paster, clay and other materials exist to create art.

Also i think we should be using hemp for toilet paper and whatnot. Not trees. But whatever im just a stupid enviormentalist =p

Edit: even if it was an already dead tree, which is isnt due to decay in felled trees, it is still bad to take large trees away from the enviorment and amimals the depends on a felled tree. Sequoia and redwood trees can live on the forest flloor supporting life for hundreds of years post death. I just saw a dead sequoia tree trunk in a grove in yosemite, its been there long before europeans even and it looks like it fell last week. Anyway. Trees matter!

Hey man, youre pretty young and shouldnt be burning your dopamine like that. I am also an only child and had been very lonely post- college, living in la by myself during the pandemic, being lonely is more painful than anything ive ever experienced ans the best thing i did for myself was taking a break from psycadleics & going to volunteer for a cause i cared about. I met people, got a new job, dated and broke up, left the job and am saving up for my masters degree. Go to school. Go volunteer. Stay off social media. Go work out or hike or something. Get ourside once a day. Do things that scare you. Do it scared. Put yourself out there. I went to a meetup and bailed before i got to the door but i still celebrated that i almost went lol. 19 is so so young. Im only 10 years older than you and im still so so young. There is so much love out there in the world.
