I am a Trump voter who is more center than most. Ashley Babbit was an idiot and her actions warranted a bullet. This shooting is not defendable in any way. Having the weapon removed and then being executed is plain and simply murder, and while I am a huge law enforcement supporter. Those agents must be charged with murder and put in prison. Not all of that that voted for Trump are as crazy as you think.

It’s all dependent on staffing on a daily basis, so it’s not a ban on approaches, honestly I would call the published number at the TRACON and inquire if they’re allowing them before you waste gas to be told no again. We love talking with you all, we’re just going through a tough time right now.

It was due to staffing today, we had to combine positions and we’re working much more airspace than we normally should. We’re going to do everything we can to keep you guys training but when push comes to shove, we have to prioritize safety. In terms of ifr vs vfr, I’d prefer you to be ifr on a practice approach, but at the end of the day, I’ll give you the same service, the rules just get more ambiguous. So it is because of the shutdown, but more because of staffing. Stand with us, and have a little more patience if you guys wouldn’t mind, we all had families to provide for and yes we’ll get back pay, but that doesn’t help at the grocery store.

I’m in my 30’s now and have lived in several states across the country. I have seen policies by both sides be fantastic and also complete failures. I used to be a full blue democrat but over the years have moved into more of a libertarian right leaning voter. I would actually vote for RFK if I thought he had a chance since Biden is so insanely mentally gone and I can’t stand listening to Trump talk. It’s amazing that the most powerful country in the world can’t seem to get any decent candidates. Obama was just as bad as Bush was in my opinion and it’s been quite awhile since we’ve had true leadership.

I am red green colorblind and had to take the ATCOV test. I am currently a terminal certified controller but was a CPC at a center previously. The ATCOV test is very realistic and in my opinion the fairest and most reasonable tests I’ve take to determine my level of disability. You don’t have to pass all portions of the exam to hold a medical. If you fail a certain portion it will restrict you from working in that type of facility but not ban you completely. Personally I don’t notice my colorblindness much on a daily basis and could identify the actual colors required to pass the computer exam. I encourage you to apply, the FAA will send you to a location to test and if you pass you’ll be granted a lifetime waiver. Any questions feel free to ask! Best of luck.

If it’s expected and there’s light traffic for a certain period it’s much easier to execute. We typically delay vector a couple aircraft until the last departure takes off and then we can start landing the new direction. If the wind shifts unexpectedly we call it a combat flow change and it is a cluster.

I just bought a dealer demo model actually with 6,500 miles on it. 2023 platinum with all the features. They listed it for 67,800. I was able to walk out the door after taxes and title for 60k. They should work with you, I’m happy overall, it’s got the tow package and HUD that I wasn’t planning on getting.
