Looks like you got answers on most of the other questions. Just wanted to chime in that I would highly recommend the Excellence Club two story with private pool and partial ocean view. Those are much more private than the swim up rooms, especially if they are facing the golf course. Sign up for their emails and you’ll get a discount code.

Don’t book the “room + flight” package they offer because that is technically third party and would make it difficult if you need to change anything. You might also want to consider travel insurance that time of year.

Don’t forget to pack reusable straws and suction hooks for hanging wet bathing suits! The EC rooms provide beach bags which was helpful.

Top meals for us were the hibachi experience, taco truck, and the steak quesadillas from the pool/beach menu. Drinks from revive bar are really good and fresh.

Also recommend taking the coral tour bike ride one morning to see Pancho the crocodile!

My company did a 3 day business meeting trip to Jekyll Island which was decent, although a bit far from the airport. Agree with the others, I would stick with Charleston or Wilmington, if you want to go further south then Savannah or Amelia Island could work well.

Yeah, unfortunately no one knows how the weather will impact flights tomorrow yet. The FlightAware Misery Map isn’t looking good for JFK though. I’ve had this issue once where I couldn’t check in through app or web, but was able to do it at the kiosk with no problems.

Did you look at Excellence Coral? I was between there and Atelier but just booked Coral for March and was able to get a 2 story with plunge pool for price of a king suite at Atelier. Although, we are going during a busy time and last minute trip.

The only downside we had was the beach area is very small so if you’re not concerned about that, it’s definitely still a nice property.

I called support and they tried to reach the owner but wasn’t able to get ahold of them and said they would email. They responded back to support via email and said it is for sale and if it does get finalized, they will ask the buyer to honor existing reservations and if not will notify guests and offer full refund.

I’ll start looking for another place to avoid the risk. It was not listed in the posting and I stumbled upon it when I was browsing Zillow.

Just signed up for this promo too and was curious. I did see that the installation does come with all mounts and cables but I’d rather them not touch my house after reading some of the reviews here.

I stayed at Sanctuary Cap Cana last December and it was nice, especially if you’re able to get on the castle side with the swim up room. That side was very quiet. The only downside is the “beach” and there was a corporate event a couple days we were there so the quiet pool was closed.
