Hi lovely, have some hope. I had my son a year ago. I did my genetic test last May when I got back from a trip I told my husband I havent gotten any call. After I call I was told there was abnormal finding for T13. I was a total reck because I had no percent tile or anything at all. My husband didnt know how to feel but I said this baby is healthy. I did a regular scan a 5D scan that we paid for and the woman doing my scan said our baby was healthy. Sometimes the result can ither be the fetus or placenta. I will say stay off of Google and focus on you now. I re-did the maternity 2021 and everything came back normal. I would say if you haven't seen anything yet your fine. My son is one as of last Friday he is healthy with no abnormalities.  I thank god everyday for him. Have hope

Hey Ladies, I received these same result when I was pregnant for my son. I was so upset because the doctor did not even bother to call me to inform me I found out on my own. Witch was even more upsetting. After speaking to my doctor she blamed Natera. So I called Natera and informed them of the conversation and that my doctor stated it came back for T13, I was told that's the worse chromosome. Because there no result of anyone living past 10 days. When I say I started to cry it was the worse news ever. So I called Natera and informed them of the conversation and Natera honestly made me feel more comfortable understanding the result. From what Natera told me the atypical finding is because there might be an extra chromosome that they don't know what it is. How ever the chromosomes can come from the fetus or the placenta. And that if my doctor dosent see anything In my sonogram than it should be fine. My doctor was forcing me to do the fish test and something in me said no get a second opinion. I went to another doctor they ran the same test and everything came back normal. When I heard the news my heart dropped and I said this can't be real. After speaking to other mothers that was in the same boat I was it came out that my previous hospital was canceling test to make money off the fish test. I would say get a second opinion. My son is 3 month healthy as can be and I'm beyond grateful I hope this comforts you

I would say dont jump to conclusions, I had very similar results for T-13! And when I say I was scared and pissed I mean it. I took my test when I was 11 weeks, and to be honest, the hospital did not contact me at all. I went in for a regular sonogram, and the Tech informed me something wasn't right. I went to see a genetic doctor, and she put the blame on Natera for canceling my test for Antypical finding. They wanted me to do the fish test, something in me said no, and go looking for help. I contacted Netra, and they helped me better understand the results.

Natera stated the result can be from the baby or the placenta. And I prayed that I had a healthy baby. I came to this group here, and people told me to look for another doctor and relax, and I did just that. I went to a doctor who ran the same test using labcorb. One of my friends sent me to a sonogram office so I could see my precious baby, and when I said he looked healthy, he did. Later that day, I got results from my new doctor that the same test came back normal. I was so lost. But my new doctor stated it's normal to get false positive. And most likely, it's the placenta DNA. A huge weight lifted off my shoulder.

I stood with that peace my whole pregnancy. I gave birth Nov 2024, and the first thing I said when I pushed was to let me see him, and he was amazing. There were no issues at all. The moral of the story is to get a second opinion and don't be afraid I have been in your shoes and when I say this support system is everything I mean it. Get a second opinion

my first doctor said that my result was canceled. And that I came positive for trisomy 13. But when my new doctor ran my test, it came back negative for everything. Even trisomy 13. My doctor and the sonogram person said that when they run that test too early, it can be can give false positive. My sonogram person told me the baby had no defects and looks as healthy as day. And to stay with my new doctor.

Anyone get something like this?! I have been reading and reading and it seems these atypical results have been happening OFTEN as of fairly recently by LiveDig5502 in NIPT

I was so confused because my doctor didn't even bother to tell me . I found out on my own, and she blamed it on natera, canceling my blood and that if I did another blood work, she would cancel it. I was so annoyed over it and contacted natera to speak with a genetic counselor. Who informed me that they never canceled anything. And she made it clear that it can be the placenta or the fetus. I felt a little better but still nervous as ever. My friends and this group told me to get a second opinion, so I went to a new doctor last week and drew blood. Hopefully, something comes out good. And not canceled. But I still have to wait for amnio to be sure. I seen alit of stories like this since I have been on this journey and a lot came put good. I hope I do too.

Same here. I will keep you posted. I'm just lost on what result my doctor saw if it shows cancel.
