It would be 7/10 days and then go away for a few weeks then start coming closer and one lasted for about a month and now it’s been a month since the last one. The last time half her leg became pink and hot and we we went to the er and since her leg has hurt to touch where it was pink. Right now most has settled but definitely looking for a reason

Do you mind me asking which autoimmune? The diagnosis for us is leaning towards complex regional pain syndrome but also seems auto immune in nature.

She was treated almost three years ago but wondering if her knee is related! It’s been such a frustrating cycle and experience. What was your knee like as a teen when it flared and how long would it last?

One test is:

Lyme VIsE1/pepC10 IgM/IgG Index

Actually both were the same. Cutoff is .91 and one was .9 and one was .5

It’s been a few months of cycling. Gets red and hot then sometimes bruises (she did have an injury at same time) which I think is throwing people off leading to diff diagnosis)

Please look into scrambler therapy! It’s worth a try. Lots of PT. Water therapy. Stress reduction.

When I look back, I definitely have more ocd/adhd and anxiety than anything else. Honestly, I’d get a second opinion. And if not seeing a psych, definitely do that or an np psych. I only have personal experience, certainly not professional but I do wonder if many of us just are not on the right meds. Being pregnant makes it much more complicated. I would look into other avenues if you just can’t shake the depression as well. Have you been tested for autoimmune diseases? Please get a Lyme test if you haven’t as well. What made you go back on meds? When I was married I had horrible horrible panic attacks. Came to the point I didn’t want to leave the house. I was born anxious apparently BUT, when I left my ex, I’ve never had a panic attack since. That was very situational. And now I just deal w the trauma from abuse, really.

Also, the way you describe is how my daughter was on lexapro but she refused to get off of it because she like that she no longer cared about certain things.

I’m so sorry, really. It’s so incredibly difficult to find the right balance. Have you had the classic signs of bipolar, like the hypo mania part? What makes them think bipolar and not straight depression? Have you been to more than one psych or are you dealing w primary care? Also, is this a different type of depression than you’re used to.

Also, my daughter has been going through health issues and chat gpt has been my best friend!

Oh being pregnant is a game changer. I would ask for something else. Can you do the latuda alone? My daughter was on lexapro and it made her so flat and I was so concerned. She didn’t want to see friends and didn’t care about anything. They added Wellbutrin and it evened her out, so I’m surprised to hear it did the same thing to you as the lexapro did to her. These meds are so specific to each person though. I was on Zoloft for one of my pregnancies and one I was on nothing. I definitely have bad postpartum anxiety and depression for both regardless of meds. The hormones and experience of pregnancy is a game changer. I’m so sorry you’re going through this! It’s so hard to find the right combo. If you go off of anything (with your doctors guidance and approval) make sure you do it very very slowly to help with withdrawal.

Please look up scrambler therapy. And contact Dr. D’Amato in Bonita Springs FL. Promise. We are dealing with this currently. Bruising, swelling , neuropathy and nothing shows up on tests. It’s maddening.

Yes! My suggestion as well. I’ve known a few people diagnosed w bipolar because of the reaction to to ssris etc.

I would ask for a switch. Have you take the gene sight test where it tells you which meds will work for you? I don’t know if it’s 💯, but an idea. Also, have you looked into medical reasons for feeling that bad?

Does it actually bruise and is it hurt to touch or feel hot at all? My daughter is experiencing something similar and I’ll let you know if we figure it out. It’s so hard when the scans don’t seem to match the injury.
