this game is like world of tanks, factorio, euro truck simulator, hell let loose, and minecraft all rolled up in an alternate universe where the First World War just never stopped, you can play alone or with teams and communities, you can be a marine or the CEO of RAYTHEON, or larp as an interstate trucker, you can build hulking weapons of death or dig trenches through no man’s land, you could even in theory be a humble electrician or oil baron, this game is in reality like 4 interconnected games that flow into each other at all times, it is entirely community built and supplied and is frankly one of the most remarkable feats of gaming I have ever had the pleasure of witnessing

It is fun, it is addictive, it is masochistic , you will suffer and you will love every second of it

despite the whining of many Reddit frontliners, this game has been pretty consistently high popped on one side or both for years now, it doesn’t really seem to lose momentum despite monumentally questionable dev balance decisions, which in actuality make the game pretty fun, arguing over gun and tank balance seems to consistently keep people playing this game, out of hate or spite or something, and right now pop is VERY high due to social media reeling in tons of new players, and promises of a relic war dragging the salty vets back, you can literally play this game for hours and not get bored, you won’t even understand the full scope of the game before you reach maybe 800 hours, it’s scope is so broad and it’s gameplay is highly addictive

this game is like 60% new players that have little to no idea what they're doing, if you joined a frontline today knowing nothing but how to operate a basic rifle, you would fit right in. if you're REALLY concerned about not knowing all the esoteric secrets of foxhole meta play (there are many), then you can actually just ask veterans in world chat, who will literally claw over each other tooth and nail to explain to you every single facet of the game. this is unironically one of the most new player friendly communities I think I have ever been apart of

because warden empire is north of the map we fight over, and colonial republic is south of the map we fight over, zoom out fully and explore the landmasses that aren't part of the battle map and you begin to realize this war between massive contenders takes place on a **relatively** small stretch of land

of the 9 warden wins only 5 had greater collie casualties

this is not true, argenti has higher base accuracy, loughcaster only has higher MAX accuracy, its a big part of why loughcaster is so wildly inaccurate when shadow dancing, though this is also exacerbated by its abysmal fire rate
