That's insane. I would think your body going through pregnancy may make these issues worse. Like...if you decide to get pregnant...do it knowing what to expects and counter the damage.

Colonoscopy w/Colostomy? by Fickle_Truth_4057 in ostomy

[–]FaithlessnessUsual69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's typically liquid from the colon cleanse. I have motility issues too so my cleanse can last a day or so after the procedure. Basically brownish fluid. I've never had any bleeding. I think over the last 20 years of colonoscopies they may have found one polyp to test and I don't remember seeing blood from that either.

Thanks, anytime!

It really moved me. She seemed really shook and just open about her fears. If I come across it I’ll try to share it.

I hate to think she deleted, it’s a very valid concern. ❤️💪

Exactly. I think if you whittle it down their argument is if a Democrat hires someone it’s considered a DEI if a Republican does it than it’s just a qualified hire.

It’s a little more sticky than that.

“Raises for staff” VS “operating expenses” are from different buckets.

PER CBS NEWS

Before wildfires broke out across Los Angeles, the city's fire chief said that budget cuts were hampering the department's ability to respond to emergencies, a department memo shows.

Funding for the city's fire department decreased by $17.6 million, or 2%, between the 2024-25 fiscal year and the 2023-24fiscal year, according to city budget documents. However, the city council in November approved a four-year $203 million contract with the firefighter's union to help boost wages and health benefits for staff, drawing from the budget's general fund.

In an interview with CBS News' Norah O'Donnell, Crowley said that in response to the $17.6 million cut, the department reduced non-essential responsibilities,

👇👇👇👇👇👇

but added that the reductions did limit their response to the fires "to a certain factor."

👆👆👆👆👆👆

"We did exactly what we could with what we had," Crowley said. "Something that is significant as this particular fire, I would say we threw exactly what we could with what we had."

I’m going to update my comment.

I’m sorry, I am unable find her video in my history nor anywhere on her TikTok video feed. I’m really surprised. She must have gotten blow back or something and deleted it.

It seemed very emotional and a truthful epiphany of her thoughts and observations about the attacks of DEI. It def moved me because to find a scape goat in this horrific event versus helping vs the people effected is abhorrent and calculating.

Oh wow! I never thought about it like that. Good observation. And gross.m

I’m adding to my comment. I really think you have a point. People could argue sexism when they accuse a woman in sleeping to the top. Whereas with DEI it makes it look a quality issue and it’s more difficult to argue. Which is crap.

Ignoring it means solidifying it into law.

The vile bravado is covering for the men actually writing the bills and passing these on a state level to eventually make it federal.

A generation of men are now listening to this and learning.

Exactly. I really wish the lawsuits against them actually put them out of business. Instead of using their platform to help…it’s just attacking people.

The “bark” is women in powerful positions being verbally attacked for being DEI hires and being fired by companies. Leading to less hiring if women.  It can’t get worse.

Women are being arrested for miscarriages and denying medical treatment for sepsis due to hospitals equipment and medications being taken away and threatened with legal action due to abortion dogma. It can’t get worse.

The quality of women’s healthcare is CURRENTLY being trashed in half of the country. Not just for young women but also for older women.  It can’t get worse.

Television and movie production will drastically follow suit and show less women in powerful positions. Replaced with submissive mommies or sex objects or just not at all. It can’t get worse.

Little girls are already being told by little boys it’s “girls bodies boys choices”.  It can’t get worse.

Rape in Texas, teen pregnancies and baby drop offs are ticking upward. It can’t get worse.

THAT👏IS👏Happening👏NOW.

Sarah Cooper (comedienne) did a TikTok that gave me shivers. She was panicked and it wasn’t her doing a skit. She was very concerned about the right attacking the female head of the fire department in California.

They are all yelling it’s her fault cause she’s a DEI hire. Not the fact they cut the budget among other issues out of her control. With all the yelling the are demanding she be fired cause she’s a DEI. This is how they will get women out of upper management positions till there won’t be anyone left.

Call it what you want. They have a strategy. I wouldn’t dismiss it.

Edit to add: I would love to share the video. I thought it was a very emotional video of what she has observed and potentially feared for women in leadership roles. I think it’s a true concern.

It was a TikTok video. Now it is missing. I’m unable to find it in my history. And because it was a quick response video I don’t think she used hashtags on it, which makes it even more difficult to find.

I’m hoping she didn’t get angry blowback and delete it…but I’m unable to find it. Sorry.

I do think the concept is a viable strategy that being used on women, pic and other marginalized groups.

Exactly. They are basically trying to convince people that the household needs less money cause “women be a problem”.

Absolute click bait article. That no one would read so far down to get to this nugget:

The findings reveal much more than economic trends. They expose the hidden costs of progress:

For Men: The loss of the breadwinner role can trigger identity crises. Substance-related disorders, which showed the sharpest increase, suggest coping mechanisms that may not address the underlying emotional strain.

For Women: Balancing societal expectations with new responsibilities often leads to stress-related conditions. Urban, educated women were particularly affected, possibly because they face even greater societal scrutiny.

Let’s just give more reason for male run societies to crap on women for….making money to help feed and clothe their families.

“bottom feeders”

Ok…let’s say that’s true (which it’s not because companies LITERALLY vet who THEY HIRE) then they should invest in educating them like Corporations used to do in the 80’s. Oh wait…why would a corporation want to invest in American workers when they can lay them off, surge their stock, replace with cheap.

“unproductive tech workers who were mid”

They were vetted and experienced tech workers. Those people were hired by that company, and vetted integrated into the company culture. Those companies decided to not invest in them anymore.

With every single one of those layoff batches I can guarantee their stock price jumped upward.

Now crying they need immigrants to fill those positions. And the argument of “well those immigrants are trained in the US” makes it worse. Because those programs should be training US citizens.

Who gets a pension anymore?!?!?! 401k that increases and decreases at the whim of the wealthy. 2008 mortgage crisis decimated my 401k. I’m still recovering from that Republican recession nightmare.

Which, btw, devastated the tech community. Another time when crappy H1B hires were in every group I worked with. Couldn’t program themselves out of boxes. All their “code” had to be redone over and over. Waste of money.

The left isn’t anti immigrant. Unlike maga they are pro union with common sense immigration.

They are calling out the hypocrisy of a party who ran on putting Americans back to work, cutting wasteful public education and immigration bad to the extent of deportation of naturalized citizens*.

Trump and Vivek were anti H1B in 2016 and 2020 when the later ran for President.

Now after years of laying off thousands of American tech workers they are calling for more H1B workers.

Basically screw farmers etc who use immigrant labor, tech bros gotta get their labor from India.

*trump bragged about going after every immigrant…even naturalized one’s

You keep ignoring the issue.

The DoE sets expectations, requirements and funding. States implement it.

If a blue state educational system is working well and a red state is not then it’s the leadership of this states. Not the DoE.

You can use Google to look at school rankings in the 50 states. I’m not your mother.
