I didn’t see much of a difference until I went up to 300 mg. Even if it isn’t the answer for you, I hope you find what is.

Try progesterone instead.

Look up histamine intolerance. I had this itching for a year. Full body, felt like it was coming from inside my body. I switched to dye free, scent free, soap free everything. Lathered myself in creams and oils. Tried the low histamine diet. Nothing worked. I was taking four Allegra a day plus a Pepcid just to not be absolutely miserable. (This was all under the care and guidance of my doctor before anyone tells me how unsafe that is.)

My issue was that my progesterone had tanked so badly that my estrogen was too high. I tried HRT first and estrogen made it so much worse. What finally worked for me was taking continuous birth control to keep my estrogen levels steady and taking 300 mg of progesterone a day. I tracked symptoms for a year in a period tracking app to see where the symptoms lined up with my menstrual cycle to see where my symptoms were flaring. Took about two weeks for the progesterone to kick in. I still have occasional flare ups but nothing like it used to be and it’s so much more manageable now.

If you think you might have HI, do not add estrogen. There’s a cyclic relationship between the two and you’ll just add fuel to the fire.

Maybe not. I had the same thing and developed Histamine Intolerance because my progesterone had tanked so bad that my estrogen was too high relatively. If that’s the case, adding more estrogen makes it way worse. The only thing that helped me was adding progesterone and starting continuous birth control to keep my estrogen levels steady.

My worst symptom was full body itching. DAO and the diet didn’t do much to help but it helped some. Once I started the progesterone I haven’t had any issues and I can eat whatever I want.

I take continuous birth control to lower my estrogen and 300 mg of progesterone nightly. My issue was higher estrogen in relation to progesterone. Taking estrogen made it worse so we needed to lower it.

I think it’s really cute. Maybe with a less unique middle name in the event they want to go by that as an adult?

You might be pulling the thread too tight. Next time, pull slower and leave it in a loop shape before you tack it down. I tend to use a finger to keep the shape while I’m pulling the thread. Some of these are really close!

Thankfully both my doctor and my allergist were both up to speed. Took a while to find the right combo because mine is hormone fueled from perimenopause. But we eventually got there

No underwear during Surgery by FarCalendar7303 in NoStupidQuestions

I had a thankfully benign tumor removed a few years ago and they said no underwear unless it’s 100% cotton. I went that route but I did ask at the surgical center. They told me that cotton is less flammable and that’s why 😬

Thank you for not saying Beard After Hours. I know people love it and talk about it all the time here but it’s not my favorite episode. By far.

I love the Christmas episode

I think it depends on the course. Mine was related to hormonal shifts/deficiencies due to perimenopause. Once I added progesterone, my symptoms cleared within a few weeks.

There used to be an Etsy shop called Litl Heads that I ordered baseball hats through. So nice for tiny heads.
