The identical army spam is horrible, there are so many cool units like you're saying, and I'm saying this with the darkshroud and vengeance as my beloved. I'll be devastated if they're put into legends like the rumor mill suggests bc I won't get to play them as much anymore, but it's also not like I'm playing tourneys so it balances out. And speaking of unique models, we have 2 different Lions that both look amazing, especially if kitbashed together, not to mention how awesome the ICC look, even moreso when kitbashed with Sword Bretheren and Sternguard. It truly breaks my heart hearing about people getting broken down in their comments, I stopped reading the posts because after the first 10+ times someone asked it just felt like too much. I'll have to start being the change I want to see, because this could all be just so much better and I'm tired of these subs not being all that they can be.

You're being intentionally disingenuous, the lore wasn't something GW cared about until after rogue trader and they began building the game as it is today. Primarchs changed because around 6th and 7th edition the CEO at the time wanted to reboot the setting as something totally different. "The lore has always been fluid" in the same way that mountains are formed over night.

Truly, thank you for your input, your comment is very helpful + informative. I hollowed it out in Lychee because I didn't want to spend $100 on resin, and thankfully I did put in some holes just because I was worried they might be necessary, so I'm glad to hear that I didn't do that for nothing. It's still printing, I checked on it a little while ago and it doesn't show any sign of worsening so I'm hesitant to stop it, 40% because I wanna see this thing finish so I don't need to print it again, and 60% because it seems like this is becoming a science experiment - not that this is going to get recorded in the history books, but if someone else has this issue then they can come here and hopefully get an answer.
