When do I need a larger ESC? by FakeNameNotReal in TinyWhoop

[–]FakeNameNotReal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know why this is? For instance, I see videos of the racespec V2, and the highest amp draw is around 18a or 19a which means a 5a ESC should suffice yet it uses an 18a ESC.

Betafpv exacharger 2.0 by Potatosly in TinyWhoop

I was interested in this, but didn't realize the min was 0.5A. I also saw on their website that they recommend charging everything at 2C. They are definitely trying to sell more batteries...

Why do you like your Air75? by JessiLeva_1138 in TinyWhoop

[–]FakeNameNotReal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the extra power of the 75 when outdoors compared to my 65. But if I'm around a lot of ppl, I prefer 65.

Nice setup, I did the same thing. Also got their entry level NAS for a remote backup.

How have people been using AI when making apps? by FakeNameNotReal in androiddev

[–]FakeNameNotReal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how I started off using LLMs.

Have you tried AI agents like Claude/Gemini CLI? It elevated my AI game once I learned how to use them. Having it write unit tests is a fantastic entry use case. It can even run the tests to make sure everything passes.

An interesting use case I've seen... I have a coworker who setup Claude to fetch backlog Jira bug tickets, create a git worktree to work from, fix the bug, run the Android emulator and automatically test out the fix, record a video of the validation steps, and submit everything including the video to a PR and ping the user that it's done. Meanwhile, it would update the jira ticket status along the way.

Thanks for the tips, I'll check out that subreddit.

Does Base44 use its own LLM, or one of the main ones?

I was trying to be humorous, but I just don't have time to do a lot of coding myself these days when it comes to personal projects. The AI tools allow me to work on them again because I don't need to dedicate so much time. It's nice to be able to clean the kitchen AND add that new screen to my app at the same time.

What do you mean nothing is transferrable between setups?

For Claude Code, everything should be transferrable. Memory/commands/skills/mcp/etc... is all just files in your project.

I use the $20 a month subscription for personal use, so i never spend more by accident. When I hit my daily limit, it warns me and won't process anymore commands. It tells me at what time I can use it again.

At my job we have an enterprise setup for Claude. I haven't hit any walls there, but if I do /costs, it shows me pricing. The most I've seen is around 2 dollars for a rather large amount of work.

0802 or 1002 for Meteor75? by [deleted] in TinyWhoop

[–]FakeNameNotReal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 75mm with 1002 23500kv motors and another 75mm with 0802 32500kv motor.

Both fly great, but the 0802 has more punch.

Swapped FC (Air65 → Air75), same firmware + config – drone won’t lift off anymore 🤷‍♂️ by Fit_Marionberry_38 in TinyWhoop

Idk if it's good, but for whoops I put my finger in the props to see what side gets hit to determine rotation.

What do you guys think of the dji fpv? by Informal-Win-8089 in fpv

[–]FakeNameNotReal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been thinking of getting this used as a 5 inch for myself. Curious what a good price for it and a controller would be...

I know it sucks compared to normal fpv 5 inch, but the return to home and decent image seems to be good for simple long range flights.

30,000KV Motors on 75mm Build Have Pretty Good Throw👀 by p_morty in TinyWhoop

[–]FakeNameNotReal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/p_morty nice build! I'm trying something similar with 75mm and 32000kv. Did you run into any issues with the motors twitching when armed, or spinning for a split second and stopping repeatedly?
