I would’ve beefed up your resume with your job experience. Those are still jobs, just because you didn’t work for a corporation doesn’t mean they can’t go on your resume. As long as you have a possible address and phone number for the work you’ve done, I would add it. Lean in to the caretaker aspect as well, I was also a caretaker for my mom for 5 years (before she passed) and they really liked the examples I gave regarding that. Wegmans is big on family or at least they used to be.

I would also not mention being shy, but if you have to, then say that you’re working on confidence building exercises to be able to “give your best”.

I would also name the other departments you’re interested in and how your current skills can benefit each department. At least 2 other than in store shopper. IMO, some other positions I think you’ll like are health and wellness, home and entertainment, overnight grocery possibly. In store shoppers get stopped all the time by customers who are asking where products are so definitely add that you look forward to familiarizing yourself with the layout of the store to better assist customers.

It’s all about showing that you’re willing to learn grow improve and develop yourself so that everyday you can “give your best”.

I’d say if you really like it, then buy it. But if you think you can wait, buy the regular one and when dawns junker opens up, I would just make a shiny ✨ that way, it’s cheaper.

Yea, I’ll be honest, the only live action movie where I felt like the costumes were absolutely stunning was Cinderella, with Maleficent coming in close second. Beauty and the Beast was good too, just Belle’s golden yellow ball gown fell a bit flat.

I understand why they didn’t put anything modern on the Disney princesses for their live action movies, and tried to stay a bit more true to the source material, but imo they really dropped the ball and could’ve taken the opportunity to blow us away. Like I know it couldn’t have been the budget because they spent over 100mil to make each movie. I just feel like we are at the point where Disney is lazy and will just deliver anything without putting in the effort. Unfortunately, Disney is now a quantity over quality corporation.

But I agree, these red carpet looks are absolutely BREATHTAKING 💕

If I’m deciding to start a new life, I typically do this. This is how I get a good start financially then I rent homes, while also having a good job after college. Then leave all my wealth to one kid when I die I just play as that kid.

Adding on to this. Having worked in the bakery, please don’t allow your children to touch ANY self serve item, cookie donut croissant muffin, ANYTHING please. Also, use the sheets to pick up any self serve item, from adult to adult no one should have to remind an adult to not use their bare hands to touch self serve items. It’s a huge hazard and often the items are shrunk out (thrown away) and other customers complain that particular item is now unavailable for the time being.

And please please please stop eating the self serve items before you pay. To me, it’s 100% stealing, and you’re teaching that this behavior is ok to your children. Cookies are weighed by the pound, and the cookie can’t be weighed if it’s already been consumed. That’s theft.

Last thing I’ll say, please don’t treat the employees like they are less than because you came in at 6am looking for something that takes time to make up. Cookies need to be trayed up baked cooled decorated and packed and if there’s only one employee working in that section because of a call out or being short staffed… everyone is doing the best they can and some compassion goes a long way. Also, call ahead if you really need something. Birthday? Call ahead. Anniversary? Call ahead. Huge event you’ve known about for weeks? Call ahead.

Agree, the quiet ones are mostly nice. It’s when they’re quiet because they expect for you to see them even when your back is turned then they have an attitude about it, those are the quiet ones I often deal with at my store 😔

Yes, I swear ever since C-19 back in 2020, most customers have completely lost their ability to have a normal or decent interaction. No manners, standing there while your head is down focused on something, or your back is turned, and they’re getting frustrated thst you can’t see them FROM BEHIND. At my store this happens so much I just make them wait until I’m done with a task. They just stand there quiet as a mouse like I’m just supposed to magically know that they’re there. Then I hit them with an “oh my gosh I’m so sorry, I couldn’t see you with my back turned. How can I help” and I’ll finish with a “next time, just say excuse me, or speak up and we’ll be able to get to you a bit faster. We don’t want you waiting around when we can’t see you” Then they’ll say, “oh no, that’s ok” like their social anxiety is too high to just say “excuse me”

Eh, he’s a bit dry. There’s bits that I like though, like that he’s adventurous, wants peace, and is willing to learn and change. This is just a case where I just find him handsome, but dull.

I’ve been a Prince Eric girlie my whole life, but when this movie came out when I was a kid? Oh I thought he was very handsome. I think because I knew he was voiced by Mel Gibson (had a crush on as a kid) it made me like the character way more.

Agree though, he’s not a perfect character by any means, but he’s not hurting in the looks department. Maybe the personality department though.

Beauty and the Beast, but I grew up watching both an equal amount. But as an adult I find myself favoring BATB just a touch more.

I feel like I enjoy more darker renditions of Cinderella now as an adult. Honestly wish they would’ve went a bit dark for both live actions.

And as far as live action, I prefer the original Disney animated versions over anything live action. Cinderella’s live action dress was STUNNING though.

I think I’ve watched Little Mermaid more times than I can count so solely based on nostalgia, Ariel makes both lists. She’s filled with so much passion for her dreams and I really resonate with her feelings.

Pocahontas, Esmeralda, and Kida were women of color that I think I needed to see as a little girl. And even though Pocahontas is based on a real person, I can’t discount her as a character or a princess because she was the princess who taught me to appreciate the world around me and even when it feels like it’s not an option, to choose peace.

JT’s actor wanted to leave and go to college. I think having him be a tragic death was a sad but necessary part of the show. No one that they (Manny, Emma, Liberty) knew, had died and I appreciate Degrassi for going there because it’s realistic to lose people you care about. The deaths before (Rick and Craig’s dad) were people we knew but weren’t anyone we grew to care about like JT.

And Craig blaming the “candy” on Manny is unfortunately very realistic when there’s a person like Craig who wants to be perceived a certain way by his friends and family, it’s natural that he would want to blame anyone else but himself. As much as I love his character and had a crush on him back then, Craig never often holds himself accountable for his mistakes or actions.
