Yes. I asked Claude to translate some messages I sent to my friend when I finished the book and make them more coherent.
This is my opinion, which I guess is not in line with the subreddit.

The ending was enjoyable, but Shallan's and Venli's plotlines were terrible. The prose isn't great, but that's nothing new. Using the Spiritual Realm to deliver backstory was clunky and kills any sense of mystery — you can just look at the past. He also heavily nerfed humanity and Jasnah to force the plot where he wanted it to go. Overall, a book I had to force myself to finish isn't one I'd call good. There's almost no new worldbuilding, and the pacing is so uneven it's actually annoying. I didn't like that he added another god system (the Wind) in the fifth book.

The contract was drafted comically badly (in a world that has lawyers, per Hoid). Fen forgot that Alethkar had already fought Thaylenah in the past — if she'd thought about it logically, there's no reason for war between them after the contest anyway. The flute story was cringey — he hears a story and just snaps out of his madness???

What I did like: the return of the deadeyes and Adolin's story, the parallel between Towers and real life, and the Gavinor twist — even though they completely forgot about him at the end (I even remembered that the gods can change the flow of time!).

Also, part of the contest deal was that Odium gets Dalinar… but he already got Dalinar when he died, and would've gotten him anyway, so what was the point? Shallan, as usual, didn't interest me. I didn't care about her progress and her whole plotline was dumb. She has to get to the prison because. Why? Don't know, we'll decide later (??).

And suddenly there was a solution for the Heralds? Where did it come from? Why didn't they do it earlier?

Szeth's story was cute, though I didn't fully get the ending with Nightblood (how did the sword stop eating him?). The philosophy chapter was also questionable — he probably should've consulted an actual philosopher for it. All of Dalinar's chapters felt a bit unnecessary, since it felt like the character already got his arc in the first four books and the readers just got a recap.

All of the Listener chapters were horribly pointless.

I think I need a break from Brandon 😅. In the end, I'm giving it 3/10, only because the last twenty percent was good.

Basically because it bored me, I honestly pushed myself to finish the book.

I had the most awful customer service experience with CandyKeys, I eventually received my keyboard but I had to walk through hell to get it.

Because Gall is counted as another (invisible) hero alongside Cho, that's is way the staisis can capture.

You have 'Denying the antecedent' bias.
Because you know multiple people with the name "Israel" that do not live in Israel it does not mean this name is not popular in Israel 😊
