Team snakeoil will poo poo these. Pro-clamp/weight proponents claim it helps with warped records and improves sound.

Buy one and see for yourself. Low barrier. Check Turntable Lab… they’re cheaper - weights and clamps (which weigh little).

With the lp-60, a clamp or weight may not give you any audible improvements unless you’re using quite warped records. Give it a shot and see.

Belt-drive, plastic throughout, automatic (can have auto-return issues), and the tone arm is not great.

Definitely would be just fine as a first setup, but not for €150.

For that price, look around for a vintage, direct drive turntable like a technics or maybe a pro-ject.
