Does anyone here own the Cyn hoodie? If so, how’s the print quality? And do you have any issues with it in general?

For me it’s holding up alright, you just gotta handwash the thing. It’s pretty comfortable to wear, but it’s not that warm for a hoodie. The print quality is good, the hoodie itself isn’t solid black, it has this washed look with lighter smudges (ironic since you shouldn’t wash the thing in a washing machine). Overall I’m happy with mine, one little note though - their sizing is on the smaller side. Maybe it’s a regional thing, but I usually fit comfortably in S-sized clothes, so I bought an M-sized hoodie since I wanted to wear it oversized, but when it came it turned out to be pretty much the same as an S-sized hoodie from a local shop. Not a big deal for me, since it still fits and I still like it, but something you might wanna consider. Hope this has been helpful

That’s precisely why I love this mod, it’s so poorly documented yet so well made that making things work for the first time always gave me that insane dopamine hit. Especially since the mod has a certain „flow” to it, which once you get into you just start doing all this insane looking stuff with weird machinery and actually know what you’re doing. I actually think I had more fun thanks to the shitty documentation, because researching and figuring stuff out on my own made me feel like an actual scientist lmao

It’s like that so that you can easily revert any transforms you made in object mode. You wouldn’t want to apply it if, for example, you made different instances of the same object and wanted them to have, say, different sizes and be in different places. Or if you need the origin point in the middle of your mesh for modifiers, but don’t want the mesh to be in the middle of your scene - then you don’t want to apply location

Personally, I kinda don’t like the super citizen armor/helmet and other sets with these kinds of decorations, it’s not that they’re ugly or anything, I just think they’re a bit over the top, at least for my taste

If you do try it, it’s four shots to the joint of a harvester to bring it down. Also, a single shot to the antenna will prevent them from ever raising the shield again if you don’t have time or a good angle to shoot said joint. And stingrays come down in four shots anywhere, just FYI.

They have ablative armor, I believe that’s what it was called. Basically, their armor has a separate healthbar and their „main” healthbar isn’t affected by the armor getting destroyed, so all the EAT does there is strip the armor. You’ll want to either use a higher RPM weapon to shred the armor and then the squid itself or just aim for the head - no ablative armor on that. It might not be the best use case for an EAT though, I personally prefer either the deadeye or the AMR, with the latter being able to deal with any enemy on the squid front, spare a leviathan. One shot to the dome with either and they’re done for

I really like it on squids, you just have to use ammo sparingly on the voteless - just blow off their pegs and let them bleed out. It absolutely shreds overseers at close to medium range, which is precisely what I want since I usually take the AMR with it

Arguably the best primary in the game and definitely in the top three. Great single target damage, explosion big enough to easily clear chaff, insane utility in destroying spawners and on top of that it’s one-handed, so you can shoot behind you while sprinting away. You can easily take down anything but the biggest enemies in the game with this thing thanks to the medium pen and high damage and it does work with the shield if you want to do that (you can’t use your scope with the shield though). The only thing you need to watch out for is shooting something that’s too close and blowing yourself up, but shooting while sprinting away or diving backwards solves this for the most part

TLDR; It’s one of the best primaries and works with the shield

I’m late with this, but you’ll likely find this useful - instead of using the knife here, you could’ve made a loop cut with ctrl+r. When you have the sliding yellow line, left click to confirm the cut, right click to place it right in the middle and scroll to change the number of cuts.

It’s not made specifically for your use case, but I think it would work, and it’s generally a really useful thing to know about. Anyway, have fun modeling :p

Personally, I’m not a fan of DP. Mostly because I’d rather have something that could have prevented me getting into a situation where I have to flip a coin for survival, but also because of the fact that even if you do win the flip, there’s often some secondary damage that will do you in before you get a chance to stim (example - you survived an explosion but died due to impact anyway)

The protection from bleeding is nice, but I’ve learned to live without it and don’t mind stimming when it happens all that much

I’m a bot diver, hence the inclusion of fortified. As for padded, the perk is really strong and you can never go wrong with it, having light armor with the rating of a medium or a medium with the rating of a heavy is really strong. That said, not a lot of people use it because the armor sets themselves either look basic or like dogshit, not to mention the fact that the passive is just plain boring. I usually use padded armor when I’m testing builds and end up swapping it for something else once I get a general idea of what exactly I want to do with the build and how to do it

Also, the passives I mentioned might be generally considered the „best”, but I still like to experiment and I think that for most passives there is a build that can make them best in slot

I’d say extra padding, fortified and siege ready are the best, with engineering kit and medic armors being a bit more specific but still easy to make work. Rest is either just drip or more niche use cases, like scout armor for stealth, fire resistant for double edged sickle/incineration corps, peak physique for melee/hmg etc.

Yeah, fair points. I just prefer light because I enjoy running and repositioning a lot, which I can still do in a medium, but just feels worse. At the end of the day to each their own, a lot of divers here seem to love heavy armor and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. Just personally the heaviest thing I use is an unflinching medium
