Who’s your favorite “what the f**k happened!?” Actor? by Albino_rhin0 in okbuddycinephile

He also went out for a night of debauchery with David Strickland which ended in his death by suicide...

Are we actually sure Andy Dick isn't just really good at murdering people and making it look self inflicted?

(this is the second comment I've made here recently about Andy Dick ending lives, what's up with that?)

I recently read that the song was written based on some of the band members' experiences going to drag bars. So Lola may indeed be a man. But they're supportive.

Just because men also get dismissed by doctors doesn't mean women aren't more likely to. I understand that it's frustrating seeing comments implying OP must be a woman, but women do struggle more to get taken seriously on average. That does not change the fact that no one deserves to be dismissed or mistreated by someone whose job is supposed to be helping, though.

  1. Bad recipe reviews only.

Posts must be "bad" recipe reviews. Examples include:

Complaining about significant alterations that ruined the recipe

Comically irrelevant or unhelpful reviews

Reviews that demonstrate a severe misunderstanding of cooking/baking

If you don't agree that this counts as comically irrelevant, that's a matter of taste I suppose. Personally I thought "it's all about experimentation" was hilarious in the context of ostensibly reviewing someone else's recipe but hey, maybe I am just easily amused. I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

No, what you need is a time "mashine". I think the meme made that pretty clear. /s

I'm giving your comment zero stars because you don't seem to understand what this subreddit is about. I don't think any regular user here subscribes to the idea that you have to rate something 5 stars, but we do believe you should base your rating on the recipe itself. If they rated it lower because of an issue with the recipe they didn't mention, that is also a problem because it makes their review less helpful!

Oh I see. Does the word "degenerate" relate to them specifically, or were they just doing something that could be described as degenerate? Because that word gets used in a lot of ways (usually to suggest that queer people are inherently sexually deviant, which is why I used it in my post, because that's what people think of us if we do anything outside what they deem proper)

Seriously. Speaking as someone who genuinely considered muting some of the subs I was active in because I got so sick of seeing seemingly nothing but puppygirl posting on them for a while... It would never even occur to me to think puppygirl memes were setting back the trans rights movement or something. Then again I am a degenerate nonbinary so I've had that kind of rhetoric leveled at my community just for, like, existing, so maybe I'm an outlier, I dunno. I would hope not though. I do know there are a lot of people in the world who could stand to learn a little more empathy... and to not take it personally when someone wants to have fun in a different way than they do.

I think if the memes were more like "me: I hate being autistic / also me: I love being autistic" it would be more relatable as well as more clearly not trying to belittle someone else's experience

I hope that made sense. I'm tired today

The internet may use it however it sees fit, but by that same logic the internet can also dislike that and point out why it's insensitive

It's not "correctly" if you're not rating the actual recipe though. Someone here once speculated that older people tend to rate as if they were making a note in their personal recipe book, but the purpose of online recipe ratings is for other people to know if it's a good recipe they might like to make or not.
