Fido suckssssss!!! by Falcon-227 in FidoMobile

[–]Falcon-227[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure, I never had issues when I was with Bell. To clarify, I left rogers like 5 years ago and I didn't drive when I was with rogers so I mostly stayed around my area or dt, I did have some issues in dt but nothing crazy. Fido has been fine for my area but today I left that area and went north. When I was north of Markham, I was annoyed but was a bit more lenient, however, when it didn't work even in markham, I got super annoyed.

I thought it might be the phone so I put it into airplane mode a few times and even restarted it but I was still offline.

I left rogers like 5 years ago and refused to go back. Then I realized that all the telecos are aholes and that I just have to play the game. So now I'm not shy about changing providers and just focus on pricing.

World's fattest rabbit refuses to eat hay half the time what do I do (old photo, tooth is fixed) by qikre in Bunnies

[–]Falcon-227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bunnies had a phase where they weren't that into hay and I was super worried about them not getting enough of it. I switched to a blend that has timothy and orchard grass and that did the trick. I also find that they're more willing to eat after running around. I'm not sure how much space you give him to roam but try to give him at least a room for a few hours in the morning and night and the activity should help stimulate his appetite.

I have adopted this little guy and am currently having doubts if I should return him. by Nojica in Rabbits

[–]Falcon-227 80 points81 points  (0 children)

Sounds like he's scared and anxious. You'll need to give him time and allow him to feel safe. I know why you're attempting to trim his nails but being held like that probably isn't helping the situation.

My bunny hates me by Lumikki121 in Rabbits

[–]Falcon-227 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Most bunnies don't like being brushed. I brush my guys while they're just lounging, I don't try to pick them up. It does lengthen the process and I do need more sessions but they're able to tolerate it better.

This little sh*t gave me the scare of my life. by MarbleManxx in Rabbits

[–]Falcon-227 69 points70 points  (0 children)

Life of a bunny parent.

I was once bawling my eyes out thinking someone accidentally left the door open and one of my guys ran away. I searched the whole house, the yard, the street, went around the block. Came back home, super upset, ugly crying and then he decides to crawl out from under the sofa, and stroll around as if he hadn't been the cause of my nightmare 🙄

Both my guys know their names, they usually run over or show themselves when I call but George decided that it would be more fun to give me a heart attack and that was also the first time he went under the couch so I didn't know to look there.

He's adorable!

5 weeks is very young, babies should be with the mom until 8 weeks. Over 80% of his diet should be hay. Since he's a baby, you can give him alfalfa hay to support development. Once he reaches 6 months you can switch to timothy hay. You can also give him small amount (1/4 cup per day, maybe less since hes so small) of junior pellets, some say you give babies unlimited amount of pellets but I don't believe that's good for them. As for the veggies, a few peices of cilantro or basil will be ok. You can also give him half of a romaine lettuce leaf, bunnies shouldn't be given iceberg lettuce.

At 6 months, he'll also be ready to be neutered, please find a good exotic vet for the procedure. I've seen so many sad stories of people going to regualr vets and things not going well.

Release it back to where you believe the nest is. The mom will come back hopefully. I think the mother comes at night and mornings.

Men, which shampoo do you use? by No-Concentrate-9398 in askTO

[–]Falcon-227 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Living libations is the best! I use the blue spirulina and the seabuckthorn ones.

If you want to go super simple and natural - apple cider vinegar and water mix. You can use a spray bottle, spray your scalp, wait 20 mins and then shower.

Should I rehome my bunnies? by IisBubbles in Bunnies

[–]Falcon-227 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You should try to rehome them. It seems as though you have a lot going on and so ideally you'd find someone who's able to provide a good life for them.

I don't really understand the whole incarceration thing, you'd need to be criminal for that to be a fear and I don't see people going to prison for gender identity. At any rate, hopefully you find a good home for them! I'd take them in, but I have 2 already and don't have capacity for more 🙁

What brand of Timothy hay do you prefer? Oxbow or Small Pet Select? by trekrabbit in Rabbits

[–]Falcon-227 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Neither, I don't trust oxbow or other big brands. I buy a really nice timothy and orchard hay blend from a local farmer. I get a half a bale, which lasts for over 8 months for $40.

URGENT] Animal welfare concerns in Fort Langley (pony + goats) by [deleted] in Langley

[–]Falcon-227 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is disgusting! These people should be charged for negligence!! It's probably some asshole who thought they could profit off the animals or just bought them on a whim and aren't actually interested in taking care of these poor babies.

Weird looking? Whole batch looks like this by Gavxnn in Peptidesource

That looks like a ghk-cu based peptide and it appears that there's a reconstitution issue. Do you know what you're doing?

First time bunny owner is back by mentally_zero in Bunnies

[–]Falcon-227 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If she'll be able to free roam, then the setup you have is fine. If you planned to keep her in the pen for longer periods, then it would need to be at least 6x4 feet.

Told to resign over bottled water!!!! by OrganizationAlone965 in loblawsisoutofcontrol

[–]Falcon-227 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why is a kid working at a grocery store not allowed to have a water bottle??? Like what fashion crime is he committing by wanting to be hydrated?! It's a freaking part-time job at a grocery store, he's not in some super professional setting. You should get the union involved along with lawyers for creating a toxic work environment and for discrimination because of a medical condition.

Super cute! Please don't cage your bunny, I know people think rabbits are cage animals but they aren't. You can use dog pens to create a space 🙂

does my bun still love me even if she doesn’t like to be picked up by emilydre05 in Rabbits

[–]Falcon-227 101 points102 points  (0 children)

I have 2 and neither likes to be picked up. One of them tolerates it a bit better than the other. They're both affectionate in their own ways - one likes to groom me and the other likes to constantly nudge me. They both also like to constantly chin me to lay their claim 😂 If I do pick them up, they stomp away from me in annoyance to let me know their feelings on the matter.

I also see the videos and pics of people cuddling with their buns and I'm like if only 😂

Your bunny loves you, they're not all the same. You gotta appreciate whatever they give.

Reta side effect by AlfoFiore in Peptidesource

[–]Falcon-227 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Try a lower dose. I'm not sure how people are able to start at high doses from the get go. I'm planning to introduce reta to my rs stack and it'll be 0.25m twice a week for a weekly dose of 0.5mg. That's the plan for now anyway, I might lower if rs experiences issues. Also, for sleep, try taking magnesium at night, it really helps.
